Re: Methodical Monday PWYC

Starting Monday pretty well -- I s2bed last night so all I had to do was get dressed when DGD woke me up, around 9:30 a.m.
She ate breakfast -- a blueberry pancake/sausage "corn dog" AND she pronounced my syrup "better than Paw Paw's."
Paw Paw (her other granddaddy) is a good cook, so I was glad to be compared favorably to him, LOL!
While I was getting dressed, etc, ddil called and said a friend from church was going to the pool and wanted DGD to go with her and her two dgds.
I dropped her off with them and went to town, got two Rxs filled and did my wellness check up at the drug store. I am sooo glad the drug store can do this! No appointment needed, no co-pay, etc. Plus instant results. My cholesterol was a bit high, 245, but the "good" cholesterol was 79, which she said was good. "Bad" cholesterol was 137, so I'm going to have to add in a little more salads and grilled foods, I guess. She just told me to watch out for fried foods and red meat. My BP was 148/83, probably a little high because I get a little nervous at the idea of finger sticks, plus that cuff tightens up so much it hurts! Fasting blood sugar was 98, so I was glad to see that.
Anyway, I am so glad to have that done. Saves me $50 per month on my insurance.
I also stopped at the post office, and when I got home, I started the laundry, PUPA around the house, and had my "breakfast" -- banana, pb crackers, and later, 2 slices of pizza and two cookies. (That won't help the cholesterol any.
)
DDIL just called and said friend was taking DGD home with her to play with her girls, so I'll be childless until at least 4:30 or so -- DGS went to work with ddil after his appointment.
I am waiting for the internet people to call -- said they would be here between 12 and 4... smh... I am VERY thankful for my cell phone and hot spot.
I will clean bathrooms while waiting for the man to call.
