After lunch
I made a yummy roast beef san. with Tom. cheese.

I vacuumed the back of the house [bedrooms].
I have knitted some more rows.
Got a bit more pruning done now I can see better out the window.

Got my steps in for today.

Home from a mini adventure. We made 5 stops in two different small towns plus did a little exploring of roads we haven't been on in decades. We also walked the shoreline a bit at the local lake. There isn't much breeze today, so we limited our time in the heat.

I'm excited about finding some fresh sweet cherries. I have them soaking now.

Home from workout, great as always. Lots of stretching today was great for me, and we did a fair amount of strength and cardio work too. This is the third year of working out twice a week, an hour each time (except for being off when I had wrist surgeries and couldn't), and it's so good for me.

Dh is still out. We have dinner reservations at six p.m. I was hungry - hadn't eaten since mid morning brunch, so made an open face peanut butter and banana sandwich with keto bread. It was delicious and I think it will be filling.

Earlier I did what work I needed for the cemetery for June and did a little financial statement for the year that ended in June. I still need to set up a new labeled folder for the new accounting year, and need to email the statement to the board. I entered the HOA checks that need to be written and need to print them and mail/distribute. I think I'm done for the afternoon though. Tomorrow has nothing on the schedule - will try to limit accounting to tomorrow a.m. and save some time tomorrow for other things.

Forgot to post this, dh came in and we were talking.

Got DD14 acne meds ordered. Will pick them up tomorrow when I'm in the city for heart scan appt.

Decided to order DH a FBit watch that will display time/date. I have a hate/love relationship with FBit and had every intention of not doing business with them anymore. However, it was the easiest solution for me to not have to learn a new device. I would rather maintain two smart watches with the same interface. Something along the lines of sticking with the devil you know....

Speaking of smart watches and devices. Our state has a new law that says public school students are not allowed to have any smart watches, cell phones, smart glasses, tablets, etc. Personal devices are not even allowed to be accessed during breaks and lunchtime. Some schools are requiring parents to purchase locking pouches to put the devices in. Our school is saying they don't agree with the law, but they will enforce it. They are instructing the students to remove smart wearables, turn devices off and keep them out of sight.

DD14 and friends are not going to be happy with me. I just set up the software to turn her phone off plus turn the internet off at 3am. I will be moving that time backward between now and school start (Aug 7th). DD14 and her friends are playing games & talking all night long. They stop when the sun comes up. I will not be their favorite person. I might negotiate with them to change it to 4am for a few days. Maybe. or not...

Dh and I spent some time in the garden. Six zucchinis!! 5 tiny radishes. 2 small tomatoes and a partial bowl full of green and yellow beans. Dh ripped the peas leaves out yesterday as there were no more peas. He wants to plant more seeds to get another crop of those.

I picked one raspberry and ate it right there. Yummy!! There are a lot coming.

It has rained a bit here over the past 24 hours. The temperature is way down and dh wants to sleep with all the windows opened tonight.

I just put a load of laundry in.

It's really late (or early? Almost 1:00 a.m.)
I've just been so busy with these dgrands this week. Plus bothered with seasonal allergies, so my best laid plans have gone astray.
I really intended to get some WHB done today, before the bug lady comes tomorrow, but nope, didn't do anything.

DGD and I went and picked up DGS when football was over at 10:00 a.m.
We all rode out to neighboring community where two of my great aunts are buried. Dmom and I had been talking about them last night, and I wanted to see if one of them was older or younger than my dgrandfather.
Home again, played with dgd, talked to dmom on the phone, took dgrands to the steakhouse for late lunch, took DGD to their house so she could change into volleyball uniform, went to volleyball game, and finally, DGS and I came home to my house. He is spending the night tonight. Tomorrow, I don't think I'll have anyone -- they are going on a family outing Saturday -- they'll be in your city, Twins -- they are going to the aquarium and a battle field and maybe the cave/falls. I would love to go to the aquarium, but I have not been invited. I don't mind -- I know they need some time on their own.

I really need to vacuum and dust, but I don't see how I will get that done before the bug lady arrives. Sigh. I just have no energy and no motivation.
After the ballgame, I mostly just sat and played on my phone. There is a big load of towels still piled on top of the dryer and a few things in the kitchen sink -- ice cream scoop and a plastic cup and straw.
I did shower a little while ago and washed my hair. Did my Bible reading. Have spent too much time on the computer.
DGS and I mostly ate cereal for supper.

Maybe I will do better tomorrow. Hope you all have a great day!
