Dh had his cardiologist appointment and 1 med got changed and doctor is also requesting that dh check his blood pressure more frequently. Now I am on the hunt for a blood measure monitor type of thing. Dh told him that he has had increased dizziness. There are 2 meds that have a sticker on the bottle "may cause dizziness". There will also be the blood sugar monitor that stays in the arm for 10 days (I think) Dh used to use that, but he was also very busy working and the thing would get knocked and it would fall off. Now that he isn't working the same way, we are trying this again to see if he can wear it without losing it so frequently. So it looks like another trip to the pharmacy for me to go pick this stuff up.

We got dh some soda. We also went to a fry truck for lunch. The fries were freshly cooked for our order. HOT!! Thankfully I had a can of really cold soda to go with the fries.

Today Freddie had his monthly appointment at the vet for his Solensia injection for his arthritis. I'm considering it a win, as although he was extremely vocal as usual, no one got bitten or scratched. I've also made appointments for Freddie and Jude for next month.

I spent some time in my garden deadheading, and messaged the council as they didn't empty our garden bin today . (We pay extra to have a garden bin, so it's a matter of principle as much as anything).

Indoors, I cleaned my sitting room, hall and stairs, and cooked slice eggs pilau for supper - on of DH's favourites.

I've played with the fishing rod toy with Matilda and Freddie, and Matilda is now asleep on my lap.

Medical appointments seem to be the theme today in SHE village. I wonder how Harriet appointment are going....

DH and I went to get drinks then a 20+ mile drive through some country roads we haven't driven lately. The radio was playing hard rock that DH knows so well. He can name year, singer, writer, lyrics, etc for most of those songs.

DS16 is off work and headed home. He called to tell us about his day. He is loving every experience & moment even the difficult, hot ones.

Local meteorologist tried to make things seem cooler by saying "DRIER AIR TEMPORARILY MOVES INTO OKLAHOMA TODAY LEADING TO LOWER HEAT INDICES 102 - 107 INSTEAD OF 115". I guess there is a positive side to everything, huh? We aren't having 115F

KittyKatt 2 of my 3 cats need some "Happy Cat" an hour before their vet appointments. At home all 3 cats are fairly laid back, but they turn into little lions at the vet's office.

LadyM did your dson stay out working for most of the night last night?

Pharmacy has texted that everything is waiting to be picked up. I will go there in the morning.

We have had supper and all the dishes are soaking in the sink waiting to go into the dishwasher. I need to finish unloading the DW first. Dishwasher is unloaded and reloaded and ready to go.

I got my pic taken with great grand son it turned out well.
The visit was good.
Glad I mowed in the morning and I"d showered and washed my hair and put it up nice before hand.
Had on a nice Hawaiian blue shirt on too.

Cathy — I’m here. These dgrands are just here all the time and lose track of time! I think they are trying to get in all the time they can before school starts back. They only have a couple more weeks!
Tomorrow we are celebrating ddil’s birthday here at my house. I have GOT to get myself up and at ‘em tomorrow and do some cleaning.
I sorta hope I can have a little more structure to my days once they are back in school, but I do dread bringing slobs again. Saturday was a little tough for me with them being out of town.

We have been under a heat advisory the last few days and I think if will continue the rest of the week. Dgd wants to go swimming sooo bad but I told her I’m nogg TV going if this heat doesn’t break.

I don’t have much to tell. Thd one excitement arounf here is a black bear that has been traveling through the county. This is very unusual and people keep posting its whereabouts on fb. Dgd and I went out last night looking for it but we never saw any signs of it. He’s moved on, about 20 miles east me, at last report.
