A couple of BWTGs — one for Twins accomplishing so much today, and one for LadyM on the declutter!
Nancy, I hope you get the birthday you want — it is your birthday, after all.
Speaking of birthdays, DC hemmed and hawed long enough over dessert that it will be neither cake nor pie but just ice cream. I suppose you can stick a candle into ice cream…. Still need to finish tidying my spaces. Spent a long time doing dishes so L. could have room enough to cook.

I saw whet I think is an ice cream truck I might get that for my bday. LOL!
Just kidding.
I played with stickers this afternoon put a new divider in my planner.
I made dinner dishes await.
Kitchen could use a spiff.
Cleaned the kitchen sinks.
Dusted the living room & one other room.
I did get the ribbons put away.

Yes, Nancy, hoping you have the birthday celebration you would like.
We had a long day as expected. Back home, HRH had hoped I would stay up and have a meal with him, but I was too tired. I fell into bed and napped for hours, waking when ddolder called the second time.
She had a lot to tell, herself. Her lecture and then, later, dgs's event, both went very well.

I am watching a fashion/talent show. Dgd is all 5 contestants and I am the judge.
Tomorrow, Dgd is going to the preacher’s house to play with her dgs. Then sometime next week, the preacher “hopes” “someone” will invite dgs to go swimming. Sigh.
Maybe Monday? Heat index is well above 100 all week but Dgd has volleyball tournament Tuesday and I have to take dmom to doctor Wednesday. Plus Wednesday night, the church children are going swimming anyway.
School starts back on August 7 for the kids. (August 1 for teachers! I am so glad I am retired!) That is dh’s bday and I don’t remember being in school on his birthday before. Summer just seems shorter every year.
Oh! Guess what Dgd did before the fashion show?
She filled out her school planner. I got her the Passionate Penny Pincher school planner (y’all can google it, I can’t do those links right.) she was saying hef mom told her she could get $1 for each chore she does, and this planner has a lot of stuff already laid out for kids, just like their adult planners. She said she was going to make a checklist for her chores, and I said I should go ahead and give her this.
Dgd may not stick with it, but at least she has goals. (Just like her Nana.)
I didn’t order dgs one. He is just like his parents and would probably lose it before the first week ended.
These planners are really nice, but the house work schedule is too much for me, and I can’t keep up with it. It totally overwhelms me so I haven’t ordered another since my first one. But the student version is less demanding.
