Ooh that sounds complicated kittykat and easy to happen to anyone. Yes some downtime is in order now. Garden a walk. Nap with kitty snuggles... which will it be?

Ok so here's a random question. I know some of you play little phone games. Suduko... mahjong... the like. I had a few on my phone and used to play them quite a bit. Completely stopped. Dh was telling me some of them are brain games that can help keep the brain active. I thought I would try again. I played one for a bit and it offered me another one. Every time I open a game and play one round I get an ad for another one. Which will not let me close it. Anywhere. Either accept and load another game or get out and close the whole tab. I am not downloading every game there is and I can't get anywhere in the one I am playing. Must be some ad thing I don't have? I want to play something for a few minutes instead of doom scrolling nothing after I have seen what I want on Facebook. That even gets repetitive and all ads and groups not very many friends posts.

I am trying to find a craft project to start again just not having any luck finding something I want to make with the yarn I have on hand. No good yarn stores here. Fields has some but they don't restock very often.

Hmmm I guess I should get ready to go . It's 8 and I still have wet hair lol

☀️Good morning! And a big thank you to whomever sent this “cold front” our way. It pushed the humidity right on out and it’s in the 60s this morning. So beautiful. Looking at you, Canada 👀

Laura, we play Puzzle Page which offers multiple games daily. Dh plays daily, I play off and on. I don’t remember seeing ads. Or are you looking for how to get out of ads? Some just don’t go away, some I have to click the play button several times before an X will finally pop up and exit. I usually delete those games as it takes longer to watch the ad than any play time.

Doggedly, mmm enjoy waking to warm bread. I’m craving carbs lately, and found some easy bread recipes I might try.

Kitty, sorry about the scammer. Glad your friend group can pass the word to be on the look out. I need to look up a photo of that cross.

Helia, today is garbage day so I’ll be cleaning my fridge with you.

LAnn, so sorry about your hand.

I’m going to enjoy a leisurely morning reading and engaging my brain before I get physical this afternoon and toss everything. My goal is to fill 2 garbage bins up, I’ve almost filled one with the comforter I tossed out.

Enjoy your day! 🤩

Yes I think I am just trying to close the ad. When it acts like I can't do anything but get the next game....

Well that changes my plans. Dad figured he needed more time than I had to offer so he changed his mind. He can either quick run to get a couple things or wait and see if she will go along.

I have a free morning now.... bonus. Except don't fritter it away with those games lol. Now I need to actually make a plan. I can get my own stuff done.

Priority list

Massage appointment 1200
Kitchen clean all the way
Vacuum everywhere
Wash a couple blankets
Declutter some in craft room
A few groceries and gas no option before Massage

Today's tada list

Finish tidying kitchen all the way
Declutter island again
Fold laundry wash ds blanket

Soak in tub instead of shower
Tidy Master bedroom some
Switch laundry
Find out plan change
Empty and reload dw

Laura, if there is no symbol to click on to exit I have to close the tab and go back in but I lose any game in progress as well as points used. That game I told you about is fun, it offers multiple different games every day…sudoku, crossword, can’t remember them all, around 10 a day if you want to delete your old one.

Oops let my day get away. Going to de-trash my house now.

First up, bedroom and bathroom. Bbwif.

Greetings, all! I did get back up eventually, I have sampled the bread and am now back on my usual rice and vegetables. I've been playing online. I got displeased with Costco for a while. I received the code that refunds your membership, but I have to spend $150 to get my $65 back, which they didn't mention in the offer. No problem; I wanted to look at getting custom soles from the machine that measures your foot, and I imagine that will take most of it, and I can look at bras and jeans that I am badly in need of. Then I see that I can only use it on their web site, not in their store. So I have to go into the store to activate my membership, and then I have to go back home to shop. I was really irritated at that one. I checked out the web site, but I couldn't find the L'Attrap a Souris cheese that my coworkers were always going on about, etc. But then I figured I can just stock up the pantry and at today's prices it won't take long to get up to $150.00. A couple of bags of rice, a couple of containers of coffee, a couple of bags of flour and some cans of fish and I'll be there.

I hope that you are enjoying your jog in the beautiful weather, helia.

True, better your left hand than your right hand, L.Ann, but I hope that this stage passes quickly.

Lauralind, I hope that the therapy session helps.
For the games, one thing that advertisers are doing at the moment is to put a fake X with a circle in the upper right corner. Often, if you wait 30 seconds, a tiny x appears above it, and that is the real exit that you can click on. Not always, though. Like you, sometimes I have to close and reopen.

That is so sad, Kittykatt. I have a special hatred for scammers who take advantage of people who are trying to help. I don't feel as bad about the ones that catch a fish by using greed, but to punish people for being decent makes the world a worse place for us all. I'm glad that your df has you to help her through it.

I think that we are enjoying the same cold front, Bama. It's 21 C here, and beautifully sunny. WTG on your decluttering progress.

Hi, Peaches.

Bama, you are knocking this out of the park.

On the subject of games, one that I like that has no ads is freerice.com. At the moment, I am doing geography (which they have under the History menu for some reason). It's all fun and games until you get to Tajikistan. And why do I keep trying to put Djibouti in the Persian Gulf, LOL?

Oh, I wanted to ask for advice on cooking oils. I seldom use them, so they tend to go past their expiry date. Any advice on what type of cooking oil I can buy in a small quantity and keep for a long time?
