Hello everyone!

I'm sure you will enjoy the museum, Trissie

FFB, I hope everything works out financially for you and Mr NG. Re your Dnephew's birthday, vouchers or gift cards are always popular because then they can buy what they really want /need (or put it towards anymore expensive purchase). I know G very nearly 13 is a girl, but I had noticed her boy cousins also greatly enjoy the round shaped swing hung from a tree branch, and also the water balloons and water pump bottle (the last is possibly not a good idea if you need to stay on good terms with his Mum!)

I hope you enjoy church, Helian, and enjoy your lovely weather.

I hope you can make the most of your weather too, L.Ann.

Hi, Peaches!

Church went well and I had a nice visit with DF E -she was in very good form. Lunch today was a small joint of baked ham with a maple glaze, roast potatoes, roasted carrots and peppers, gravy, peas and creamed leeks, followed by apple crumble and cream. I had some time in the front garden in between showers, also refilled all the containers for the cats ' dried food, unpacked the boxes of wet food and store that away and weighed out the Girls ' food for the week. And I darned a hole in the sleeve of my cardigan that I noticed when I took it off. I think it may be due to a cat claw!

Fix garage guttering that's loose at one end and bending down. Dneighbour R2 may fix?

Find picture hanging equipment for DH
Sort prints and put in albums (this will probably be an activity to do on wet days!) WIP I am now working on 2024
Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)

My grand nephews both really like gift cards to a local sporting goods store that also has clothing. I am not fond of gcards myself, but they always seem ot be a hit with them.

Mr VKM came for Sunday "dinner." We had leftover Lasagna, a salad and brownie with ice cream. I'm stuffed. Time to start eating "lighter" with a few more veggies and less pasta. 3 more pieces and that pan will be finished. Those 3 pieces are in the freezer, so I can thaw and eat them in the near future. I made a chicken-rice hotdish the first night dbro was here; we had taht one night with mother as well. And the lasagna for a few meals - including when guests came for lunch. Plus now today with MrVKM. Yes, it was a big pan! and good to get it out of the freezer - a week or so ago I was wondering where all my 9x13 pans are. I found them in the freezer with laxzgna. There's another pan also.
I NEED ot start eating out the the freezer and stay out of the grocery store.
We had a nice visit, he seemed to enjoy the food, and now I have to head to visit mother.
Dbro is just about ready to land back at his home airport.
I have a presentation to make on Tuesday, so I will not be able to stay with mother for long - but long wnought that she will have a visit, and it's a beautiful day here, so I will take her outside for a while.

It's been whirlwind of several days, cleaning garages wtih cbro, having mother at her house, which is exhausting for me and for her. I'm ready to sleep in tomorrow, and start to envision my next area to be corted through. I think it "should" be the LR, as that would be where I could host people if htey come. I'm doing some thinking about how I should be prepared for mother's passing - even tho it's not anticipated at this time, she is 101!
A big glass of water may help my stomach digest all that food...

I'd love to see a real castle someday...

Hello, Kittykatt, Bama, trissie, FrenchFly, helia, L.Ann, Peaches, and Gma. It is a splendid summer day here. I took Germane for a carry in the park. We went further this time, to the other side of the pond where the benches are, and then sat out and enjoyed the view.

I'm going to rest for a bit before I start on anything else.
