After a walk.
Thought of the folding table that might work in the basement
I can try it for a work surfaces after the bed is moved out.

I tried elevating that one desk it's not going to work that way.
I did put drawers back in it just now and the chair that fits.

I should put the small white desk together.
I think I can get DD to help with that later in the week.

One of the two rooms is better trying to focus on the spare room.
It's hard to let go of a perfectly good bed mattress is too soft for me.
Has not been used in like 2 yrs. has the plastic cover still on from the factory so is like new.
I have two couches if some one really needed to stay or they could rent a room at a motel.

I still have a chair outside to bring back in.
One in the living room to take to the basement.
Both when I get helpers.

I'll admit it to you friends, I'm "forgetting" my workout "accidentally" by working straight through at my desk today. I'll text and let them know as soon as it's too late to get there. I'm tired from last week, I'm on a roll on genealogy right now and I just want my own time.

Dh has gone bowling.

WOW! I love coming here and seeing a busy SHE village. It feels like a reward to read your thoughts and doings. I have an internal conversation with you as I am reading.

My morning was a good one. Personal care done well. DD14 delivered to school with a happy, chatty conversation on the drive. DS17 homeschool assignments are done. I walked 30 minutes on the trail with DH. I prepared 2 meals and the kitchen is cleaned up. Fish & garden seedlings have been given their daily care. And with those normal daily doings my morning is gone and we are now in the afternoon.

When I pick DD14 up from school we will immediately leave for her appt with counselor in the city so my evening hours are filled.

That leaves me with about 2 hours of free time today. What will I do with them? Hum.....

Hi!

LadyM did dd get her hair cut? Did your ds break up with his gf?

I had a delicious tomato sandwich for lunch. The tomato was from our garden.

When I was out this afternoon dh did some pots and pans. He also bought me a new propane torch with a new trig ger thing on top as the other one was no longer working.

It's another gorgeous fall day here. I think we might not be able to go to the landfill tomorrow. A lot of provincial things are shut tomorrow for "Truth and reconciliation day" which is something to do with First Nations. (Native Indians)

It's good to recognize when "I'm on a roll" with something, Twins'. Giving in to concentration on something that's going well is very like assembly-line work rather than one-at-a-timing, in that you are moving with efficiency as the clock ticks, since it is going to tick anyway. Of course, I believe this is also what they say about absentminded professors. :ugeek:

"dogs are well played with", says blessed.
Ah, the important things of life.

Working on recyclables.

Have only just finished folding all the laundry. Many oddities including a delivery forced me into "interruptions" mode with Mystery.

The top I'd ordered arrived, but instead of the black background print they sent a white-background print of large floral. Honestly, :!: it's not as if the shade of a certain color confused - it's the different between opposites. Sigh. So, I had to deal with that returning and reordering (which I can only hope will even work).

HRH says there's nothing to eat. (We got groceries yesterday, so this doesn't bode well.) Last time he announced this, less than a week ago, I was able to tempt him with a cake of cornbread and pintos, so maybe that will work again. I'll tell him Mystery has some fermented pineapple going.

Next up is sewing.

yes, DD14 got about 6" of hair cut off and loves the new shoulder length. She was able to wash her own hair yesterday and did a great job. MAAAAYYYBBEEEE we are entering a new phase of life where she can wash her own hair? Time will tell...

DS17 and GF15 just celebrated 9 months of being together. They spent hours together almost every day of the week. After school and work, DS17 picks GF up to spend the rest of the day together and takes her home at midnight. IMHO they’re too young for such an intense and committed relationship. I got married at 17 and wouldn’t change a thing, but it definitely wasn’t easy, and I don't recommend it for others.
