dd younger fed d mom - she ate 400 + calories - surprising. dd younger gave her meds.
they both sat and chatted with her during the whole morning routine.
they also started a workout around her and helped just moving her arms - which she joined in.
and now they are taking her outside to be in the garden.
she wants to go outside.
next will be a nap for her.

I go through phases where I crave the same meal every day, and right now, I’m all about shakshuka. I don’t follow a recipe—just start simmering whatever veggies I’ve harvested. Today’s mix was garlic, onion, peppers, okra, greens, and tomatoes, all simmered together until perfect consistency. Then I added a couple of eggs on top to poach. I love meals where every bite bursts with flavor and brings a fresh wave of pleasure.
Yesterday DD14 and I teamed up to cook something with no recipe. We just made it up as we went along with no plan for the end result. I had put a big pizza crust out to thaw yesterday morning and a few hours later it had doubled in size and was ready to be cooked. DD14 came up with the idea to not use normal pizza ingredients but to make it more like a dessert. We baked the plain pizza crust until light brown, flipped it over and started adding ingredients. Lots of butter, cut up apples with pie filling sauce, multiple types of sugar sprinkled over it, plus cinnamon then we made a quick icing and drizzled it over the top. I didn't try it due to gluten in the pizza crust, but the 4 teenagers and DH raved how good it was. #Win!
DS17 is going to the city with GF when he gets off work today. I asked if he would pick up my prescription and he agreed to do it. Sweet! That eliminates that 50 mile drive from my day.

I love playing games with DSHE friends.
I do, too, but missed this. I've only just come to the computer today.

does that help anyone? Or go over territory already covered, lol.
Twins', I was with you on (at least) Reasonable Exhaustive Research.
Skippable, verging on boring - The question in my mind of exactly why HRH and I are so sure about our taking Omega 3 ... .? Although helpful for cell membrane construction throughout the body, and anti-inflammatory, it's the brain performance that brought it to my attention years back when I was taking the Nutrition courses. This is very hard to quantify and there have been a lot of studies that missed proving anything in the attempt to quantify it (usually studying our red blood cells, which should be helped). Also, nutritional interventions don't seem to make change that can be identified. But what can be proven (through autopsy) is that about 10 to 20 percent of the fat in all our brains IS made up of DHA (in omega 3) so it must be important to us, especially in those areas responsible for movement, memory, emotion. And supplementation can at least be proven to increase the level of omega 3 in cerebrospinal fluid, so supplementation makes it available, but we have no way of proving whether our active living brains are using or up-taking more. We do know that when levels are high, it protects the brain from susceptibility to some toxins, lead being one. Also, there seems to be better blood flow through the brain when levels are higher, which may be good by itself. (stands to reason, hasn't been proved)
My heart was warmed last evening when I realized my main dr who ordered my blood work had sent me a note, plus copied her own copy of the printout and sent it along so I would have it a day early. HRH is so fond of her.
We found out that the extraordinary long detour yesterday around our neighborhood that affected such long lines of cars, was caused by a traffic accident with a fatality. It was on the main two-lane road that ours intersects, but one intersection over, at a very lightly traveled road. So sad.

dd younger is making Japanese noodle jars with sautéed vegetables etc. smells delicious in the house.
lemon grass. garlic ginger chili sesame oil and other flavors. I am not a fan of asian flavors but she is.
made 3 jars.
I had lunch.
I have been paying bills as they come in. I really need to see what subscriptions I am paying for.
mom is taking a nap after being out with dd's - they are so kind and good to her. I couldn't be prouder of their kindness and the people that they have become.
I hit an overwhelm feeling so I will pick another square. 3 it is
all mail gone through - checking account put away
listened to my bible study book: the common rule- Habits of Purpose for an Age of Distraction. I am not sure about reading another habit book. I thought it would be more about letting go of distractions of the computer/social influence and stressful seasons. I will keep an open mind as I read. . I am wanting a lighter burden in my day. choosing what's really important.

Does chore Bingo Saturday mean we have to do chores today?!?! I’m on strike! Harmony and I are just hanging out as she eats her late lunch. She shares so many sweet memories of you ladies. Since Harmony’s left side still isn’t moving, I’ll be typing for her.
I work most days from home and she’s so patient with me (I’m a tax accountant) She enjoys living with me and my dogs, except when they’re kissing her cheeks. I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!
