Kitty, have you considered enlisting chatgpt or another LLM bot to help you organize your thoughts and build your text? I know AI can't be 100% trusted for info and such, but if you struggle with disorganized ideas and facts, and if you need to structure it into a written document, it's a great opportunity to give this tool a chance.

I was lucky for my lunch break, there was no rain after I ate so I walked my 250m and back. A bit windy, so I tied my hair. I've enjoyed this (very short) daily walk all summer long, I hope I can find days like today when I can have a few minutes of bipedal stance even in winter.

TADAs
Morning at my desk
Lunch break
short stroll

TODOs
Afternoon at payroll
Commute back home, 6.15pm kids home, prep dinner and hopefully eat around 7pm, kids bedtime routine 8-9

FFB, thank you, that's a very good idea! :D There are more things I need to think of first, and wrote down, but when I've got everything written that I want to include, I'll save a secure copy, and then see what Chat GPT or similar can come up with the original. Even if I need still need to do a lot of tweaking,.it could still save considerable time.

So glad you were able to get your lunchtime walk in. My sack of bark has arrived, the rain has ( mostly) stopped, (for now! :D ) and I can access all my tiny front garden from the paths. So I'm going to see if I can spread some more bark on those areas that are rather thinly covered.

Both slow cooker dishes sound delicious Kitty. 15 minutes a day sounds like a great way to break that task down.

I didn't need to participate in the seminar, just listen, so I worked through boxes of colored pencils and felt tip pens, discarding the dried ones and way too short ones, sharpening what needed sharpening and downsizing to a manageable number (since kids generally start a school year with a new set, we have LOTS of extras in all sizes and colors, and it's better to have the "craft box" with a limited number of pencils in each color and store the extras elsewhere). When I was done with that, I attacked the mending basket - slightly ashamed to say so, but there were mendables from twins's era that now fit DBD :-) I'm better now, since I moved my sewing basket with a basic selection of threads to the bedroom where I handle laundry, I just do things right away, but these are remnants from the past. I am not done, but huge dent was made!

kittykatt, crock pot dinners just have that special fall/winter ring to them!
glad you were able to start the week off in a good way, Frenchie! In my AI seminar today, I have learned that if your AI kills somebody in the EU, you need to report that within 2 days. Now why did the EU Committee deem necessary to include that in the AI act, I don't know and am not sure I want to know! :-)
safe travels, helia!

trissie, I've heard of at least one case where a parent is suing an AI company bc they feel the chatbot with whom their teenaged son was communicating didn't discourage him from committing suicide - and in fact gave him helpful information. https://www.npr.org/sections/shots-heal ... ns-suicide WTG with the sorting and mending!

It is DD32’s appointment, Trissie. It is a regular appointment with her hematologist who is managing her new med and working on getting a surgical consult for her abscess. There have been several teen suicides in the US that have been linked to AI, Trissie. If you are interested in a good podcast that keeps you up to date on tech issues with the big companies I highly recommend Hard Fork which posts on Fridays. Hi Peaches! Looks like you have another busy day, helian.

1-check dinner recipe and get out things that need to thaw
2-15 minutes detailed kitchen cleaning
3-mop bathroom floor

4-read

helia, I know about the suicide advice cases, but the way it's formulated in the AI act, it's kinda having Terminator vibes (and the dealine is odd too, it's usually 24 or 72 hours). Anyway, there's a lot that I still need to learn about AI, because I know I will have to take charge of implementing the AI act at our company and better sooner that later given that some idiot might think it clever to dump client date to who knows where!
L.Ann, will DD be affected by the proposed changes in healthcare funding?
Harriet, I didn't know about Mambo No.5 being a hula hoop thing! But then again, I never mastered the hula hoop thing at all, so no wonder I don't know that :-)
