Helia, sending love and prayers for your family. Babies make such an entrance into our lives, I need to catch up on baby I. I hope things are calming down some today.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was a whirlwind. Friday we had to take care of some business and we both got haircuts. Found out my hairdresser of many years also cuts someone’s hair who is very not nice and I now need to make sure we never run into each other. Lots of driving Friday and Saturday when we pu a friend and ran some errands, went to a yard sale and found great books on history, she found lovely china pieces, ate out, helped her bring in fall decor from a storage shed, met a new friend. Sunday we chilled all day, woke this am to find out we had at least one tornado hit nearby. Yesterday was a bad weather day, rained all day, but I was totally unaware of the tornado until today thank goodness. I don’t think there were any injuries, at least none I’ve heard of yet. Today is back to routines.

Kittykatt, that was wise to leave it up to the pub to tell the difficult woman that they cook soup in big batches and that if they had to make it from scratch for each individual customer they wouldn't be in business. Oh, I see that she has agreed to order from the menu. The same menu that she was making all of the drama about.

Sitting on the sofa with Fred on my lap. I had a good leaf picking session this afternoon - I'm sure there will be more tomorrow! Upstairs is now clean and tidy, and everyone has been fed.

There is no spiff for the spiffless.

LAnn I saw a TikTok for bang bang broccoli, anything can be bang bang lol. I had never heard of it until the last few years.

I did do some have tos so counting that.

I asked dh to bring home supper and he is obliging now, just called to tell me what they have. They serve a different menu every day, a choice of meats and vegetables. It’s not the greatest but it’s easy and filling. Maybe I’ll find my mojo along with Dogged’s spiff and do something later. They’re probably up to no good somewhere!
