Little I update: She is doing better. She's out of the NICU and in a regular baby? room!! Breastfeeding attempts yesterday were good enough that they're going to try more breastfeeding today, which also means less holding her to minimize energy output for her. This of course is very upsetting for F; her emotions are running very very high - understandably. She mentioned maybe a biliblanket? So I wonder if there's a little jaundice? She won't be released until probably Nov. 5, 2 weeks before her due date, this is also devastating to F. However, through all the emotions, it sounds like little I is making good progress! It's just getting her (and F) through this rough beginning. I've messaged ds privately to see how he's holding up but haven't heard back yet.
