Cathy - is this it? Mason jar line up cross stitch
I'm a huge fan of mason jars, so I was immediately intrigued.

While updating my food inventory, I noticed several items that needed to be used up and could easily come together to make enchiladas. I love when simple ingredients can be transformed into a completely different dish. With chicken, beans, two types of cheese, rice, and tortillas on hand, all I needed to add was the enchilada sauce.

DH is full of energy today. He walked to the church and back (1/2 mile) and was pacing the floor. We teamed up to gather and load all the trash from the shop. The fellas seem to be blinded to the stacks of trash and can ignore it for weeks. ANYway, now the back of the pickup is full of stuffed trash bags waiting to be taken to the city dumpster when it opens to the public at 2pm today.

Ty for posting that link LM .

I have gotten my steps in for the 1st half of my day by raking leaves
that = the same amount as our normal walk. It's good for the brain to change it up.
Will walk ddoggo later on maybe to see the lites at dusk as we are having mild temps. here.

Now for some fun like reading or knitting.

I have to think about what will be a good day for my bulk Cooking.
I looked up what's good vs not good to cook in an instant pot.
That was interesting. The not good is things I do not eat anyway.

we had a dump when we lived in the country - I never liked dropping things off in winter because those country roads tended to have very deep valleys.

It took me over an hour to do all the 3m sticky's for the lights - they are not on the window but the tabs and the sticky stuff is up on one side. (all in a bowl for tomorrow).

so far the builder has been here and on e of the J.U.L.I.E people have been here marking the property

helper took mom for a walk - it's 60 - how weird after having cold weather and snow.

I signed DD14 up to use Nourish online to work with a dietitian. Working with dietitian was one of the recommendations from her autism evaluation because of the connection between gut health and brain health. I hadn’t planned to commit to the Nourish service yet and just intended to explore what they offered. My main question was whether it was fully covered by our insurance (it is). The process was so simple that with just a few clicks, I had her signed up and an online appointment scheduled. Having a dietitian online was huge. The amount of specialist DD14 is seeing is starting to add up and the less driving sounds appealing to me.
If Nourish turns out to be as good as it appears, I might sign myself up to use it.

It is warm here with bright sunshine. It is 85 inside the house so the HVAC unit is going to be switched from heat to a/c. I know winter weather will eventually arrive, so I am enjoying each one of these nice weather days.

LladyM that's the one! Thank you. I have done all of the 10 jars from right to left, so I only have 2 left to do. There are lots of half stitches and blended colours. There are French knots in some of the flowers. Ugh! It's nice, but I won't be doing that pattern ever again.

I can’t get the link to fully load.. may need my computer for that, but if what I think it is… when I was into doing a lot of needle work, I would use those patterns for my lids,. Fill the jars with things like coco mix, Russian tea or candy and give the jars for Cmas gifts

Later I realized I could stitch the patters and insert them into small Christmas tree ornaments instead that I bought at Michael’s.. I still have most of them that I made when my son was small and they are one of the most treasured ornaments that I have for my tree.

I must be getting better because my symptoms are not as bad as they have been, but I am extremely tired. Slept another couple of hours this afternoon. I don’t have much of an appetite.

Thankfully, my pantry is filled with items I had for the hurricanes. Plenty of soups and cans of chicken also tuna. So it’s gonna be a soup and sandwich night for sweetie. By the time I’m over from this I will need to restock my pantry, but sure has proved it’s important because right now there’s not much I can do.

My friends have come to pick up their puppy. I was too sick to really talk to them about their journey so I’m excited to learn about how well they did. But Mark Coco‘s owner told me they were looking into the breeder where they got where they got Coco from and want to give a puppy to us as a present for all we have done for them. I think we had her for a total of 10 weeks and during that time, I realize that Coco was suffering from yeast like many dogs too, so I changed your food found shampoo the washer with some ointment to put on her feet that she had chewed raw..

They were overjoyed to see her, but I had to keep distance from them because Mark has asthma and he’s getting ready to have some surgery and the last thing he needs is Covid. I told him when I was better. We would have a nice visit.

I’m not too miserable just very tired so I see a lot of sleep in my future. I have good books and plenty to watch on Netflix or prime so I don’t be able to breeze through these next couple of days.

Hello!

I went down a cross-stitch pattern rabbit hole. I need a creative hobby, and I'm not sure what to learn or pick up again. I got one of those crochet animal kits, and I never finished it. I had so much trouble with the last bit, and by the time I decided to try again, I had already forgotten so much it was hopeless.

Happy anniversary, indeed, to Harriet and HRH!

Hoping blessed, Rose, and LadyM are feeling better soon. Perhaps you need some of Nancy's chicken soup!

blessed, here JULIE is OUPS, which is what you might say if you hit something when you dig, I suppose.

Not the most productive of days, but we just established the other day that my worth is not based on my productivity. I did get one load of laundry folded and put away, and another load from washed to folded. (In between, rewashed one from the other day. ) Someone needs to carry it up so I can put it away. I chopped some vegetables for dinner while DH went to fetch DD from work. Tonight, we are going to see the play Clue at DH's school.
