Good morning!
Kittykatt, my hat is off to you for finding a W cat! Hope the location gets figured out ahead of time, dh’s suit fits nicely, and Freddie regales his cat siblings with horror stories about the vet while you’re out.
LAnn, sorry about the dx but glad it’s a mild case.
Helia, enjoy your sunshine.
My problem with books is that I love to purchase them but then they get ignored.
Smile, have fun with the process of picking out house things.
Laura, Stella sounds beautiful. My favorite cat breed would be something with the Siamese/himalayan look, of which I have none lol. We have a theme of black, white and orange in various degrees.
I set my alarm to make sure I was ready for the repairman today, he’s replacing the glass in the suv window that somehow got busted out last week. His schedule was between 8-12 and of course I haven’t heard anything. Now if I had slept in and was still in my pjs he’d be here banging on the door.
Done:
Bible
Weigh
D2S
Play ball with Beau
Spot clean lr rug, bathroom floor
Play game
Cook lima beans
Do:
Breakfast

Happy... what's the day again? All messed up from a Monday off work!

I got whole 6.5 hours of sleep, bringing my two-day average to 4 hours, which is not OK for normal people, but not bad for me. I've already announced in the office I'd be working from home tomorrow and Friday, so that will mean less stress in the morning! And possibility to get groceries in the morning, as we have a 5pm apt for the flue shots.
kittykatt, did you learn in time where the funeral was?
L.Ann, has DD had covid yet?
helia, I think that when you buy a cookbook, you're also buying the dream of living the life where these elaborate meals happen on regular basis
TaDas
- morning madness
- day at work
- pick up DS14's prescription meds
- pick up DBD from school
ToDos
- drive DBD to scouts
- drop off recyclings
- morning routine

Well my cats have a very monochromatic theme too. Stella is the most different though she blends quite well with the rest as the grey comes out. One all black and 3 solid Grey. Lol. Smokey and lucky if it wasn't for personality different lucky and smokey are practically twins.
Trissie that's a big plus for you your job allows work from home. How do I convince you there must be something to give a little to allow more sleep. I know... it would be a big sacrifice.
Well I scrubbed my shower. Thorough cleaning master bath. Main bath tub and such. Picked up some footprints and the living room laundry room look better.
So do tell me... why is it always my stuff everywhere

. Dh keeps saying ds cups etc? No probably more things are mine.

I am the one with bad habits
I think I will eat something and work towards kitchen clean with school run in between.

lauralind, yeah, the flexibility my job offers is really, really great and a huge part of its appeal

But I usually "only" get away with Fridays and then when kids are sick or when I/we have medical apts which would make it impossible to spend enough time in the office. Or, as is the case of tomorrow, when I have a scheduled online course taking most of the day. And THB, I tend to partake in a lot of those - with the ever changing legislature, there's always something I need to learn!
Smile*Lee, how fun selecting all of those things for your new townhouse!
Bama, sorry, I am going to hog the mojo for now - you can have it in a couple hours when I am done!
DH called to say he's stuck in traffic and can't pick up DBD from her scout session. I am going to be positive and say "well at least dinner's taken care of", as I took a batch of pulled pork from freezer yesterday for pulled pork burgers!
TaDas
- drive DBD to scouts
- drop off recyclings
- morning routine
- sort and start a load of darks
- talk with all kids
ToDos
- midday routine
- pick up DBD from scouts and drive DS there
- clean kitchen

Hello, all. Kittykatt, thanks for the start, and may I compliment your resourcefulness in finding a "W" cat? I hope that the funeral goes well and brings comfort.
(((L.Ann and DD))) I'm sure that COVID is still no fun, even if it is not as drastic as it used to be.
I remember the shelf of cookbooks that I never cooked from too, helia. WTG on being productive yesterday.
Those houses are keeping you busy, Smile*Lee. I hope that it all goes smoothly.
Stella sounds like a character, Lauralind. My apartment is looking particularly disaster-y as I am at the point of "pull out things to look at them" and there is no away to put them back. Perhaps we can cheer each other on.
I am at the end of Page 1. Time to get up and do something.
Wednesday
Cleaned up after dog X 2
Breakfast for Germane
Put on a pot of coffee
Put away dry dishes
Put on a pot of rice
Shredding documents

Trissie, boo to traffic woes but yay to multiplying mojo as I’m using up some today too.
Laura, I guess it’s true that cats pick us and not the other way around as I wouldn’t have chosen any I have (except maybe Little Man bc he’s a sweetheart as was his dad, a roving, beautiful tomcat with a heart of gold who showed up with mama and babies).
Hi Doggedly. I’m suddenly feeling better about my own collection of cookbooks. Maybe I will go through and thin them out soon. It seems easier to do knowing that my she friends have backup.
Done:
Bible
Weigh
D2S
Play ball with Beau
Spot clean lr rug, bathroom floor
Play game
Cook lima beans
Breakfast ate and logged
Dust
Vacuum - had to vacuum with dogs inside since tech is outside and they bark so does it even count?
Laundry
#1 Dh’s clothes drying from yesterday
#2 Dh’s clothes washing
Safelite guy got lost so fielded multiple phone calls directing him to my house, he’s here now and working on Rhonda/Honda
Litter
Lilys bathroom done
Cat bathroom done - replaced “floor” with new liner and oil cloth cover (floor is a sheet of plywood over the tub with boxes set on top, nobody bathes in there so this saves some room and keeps litter from going down the drain)
Water

Spot clean rug again thanks to Tux
Emails
Brush Toby, Jeremy
Inside animals fed
Do:
Tackle laundry room

Back again. I was working on sorting the dirty laundry. I did this standing in the doorway of the bathroom to avoid waking my peaceful old lady, and was mostly successful. I am eating rice and vegetables, to the delight of said old lady who gets a cube of carrot here, and a pea there.
There was a message that came across my Facebook feed this morning that I was really happy to see. It said that they're going to be testing the alert system at 1:00 pm today, so if you're in an abusive relationship and you have an emergency phone hidden, go and turn it off now. We don't live in particularly compassionate times, so it is heartening to see.
That's always the way with deliveries and repairs, Bama. I hate the sense that you can't go to the bathroom because that will be the moment that they arrive.
We got your back on the books issue, LOL.
WTG on vanquishing the laundry room!
trissie, you remind me that I have not booked my flu shot yet. I think that they are available to the general population here after the 25th if I remember correctly.
You can have my share of the mojo. It sounds like you need it more!
WTG on cleaning the bathroom, Lauralind. No judgement on the rest from here. How could I, when I live in one room by myself and still managed to lose the bag with the new jeans in it?
Hi, Peaches
Wednesday
Cleaned up after dog X 2
Breakfast for Germane
Put on a pot of coffee
Put away dry dishes
Put on a pot of rice

Searched for the new jeans that I bought. Found them! Added them to laundry.
