related. refill sheets for notes etc. are in a diff. planner with cover and some discs I've
repurposed. Yea! One was supposed to come tomorrow so I was surprised it was there today.

And got it set up for the border rows. To do the last 10 ish rows on it.

It's been a quiet day here in my corner. Dh went on to the Broadway show - Clue - not highly rated and he said I didn't miss much. My face hurts - I assume that's sinuses but overall I feel better. I showered - warm water to the face, perhaps that helped some?

Dh is walking dog now and then is going next door to dneighbors. Their bourbon loving friend is there - he was the one who procured the very good bottle that they gifted dh with when he retired, so he wants to go over and share a little. I told him I'd go upstairs if they're comfortable coming over here to see him.

I'm going to start a load of laundry, it can stay in the dryer overnight as far as I'm concerned but I don't want to get behind.

I'm watching TN and Vandy, and Vandy just went ahead.

After dropping DD14 off to spend time with a friend, then DH and I went on a mini adventure to view the progress of the entrance and road being constructed into 3 Roses Ranch. DNeice and DH decided to buy some land near here so they could build their own RV place to use when they visit a couple times a month. They have tried several places, but it is a huge (40' ?) RV that is a PITA to get into some areas because it is so tall and long. Plus they pull a vehicle behind it so add 10 more feet to the length. ANYway, their solution was to build a spot for easy access whenever they are here. It boggles my mind but that is how they roll. He has worked for ESPN+ for years coordinating all the cameras so is traveling to a different place every week during football season. I would probably get tired of hotels too and prefer the hassle of large RV travel.

DS17 spent 6 hours today cutting evergreen trees in the pastures. Now he and a friend are cleaning a Suburban in our driveway. For about 6 hours today, only our vehicles occupied the driveway. I really shouldn’t get used to that.

Pizza dough + apple pie filling + 2 chopped & cooked apples + lots of butter & sugar = Apple turnovers. I'm not sure I would recommend making them this way, but it is hard to mess up apples & dough.

Yup Lucylee that’s the one. If you put the pages in plastic see through sleeves you can use a dry marker and eraser. That way you can reuse the pages

Had lunch earlier;
Do over moment had to go to the basement for another batch of decor items.
Not done yet LOL! Then there is the let it snow sign.
Had to rip out the last 10 rows again and got em re-knit and just have
one more row and then the cast off to finish up. Had to get up and move
around was starting to feel it so ...
I have walked, & ddoggo was estatic.
Saw 8 young doe yearlings one may have been a mom one our walk!
Most of my steps are in the rest I can easily complete doing regular stuff.

I like to use ink in my planners & bujo so I can go back and see what I did when last time.
Sun came out for a bit only 41* it was nippy still with a breeze.
Leaves are 3/4 ths of the way off the tree now.

-----
I did get that prayer shawl done yea!
Started a dish cloth back by popular demand.

Fixed up my dinner of some left overs but had to cook also.
Cleaned up the kitchen afterwards too.

lucylee, yes, I was able to stay tuned long enough to Macy's that I distinctly remember seeing and hearing the marching band of your alma mater. I remember thinking the dancing costumes were eye-opening but not shocking. Very good performance.

Twins', I'm so glad that by the time I found out you were not feeling well, you thought you were better. Sinuses can feel painful and confusing at the same time. I would think Clue would be fun even if it wasn't done exceptionally well. Worth seeing for dh I'm sure, although kinda nice that you didn't feel so terribly cheated to miss it.

Nancy, nippy is definitely the word here. Surprising all of a sudden. "... dish cloth back by popular demand." 8-)

Ramblin', what fun to give your friend a new sweater and go to walk! Is your household feeling more chipper lately?

Great report on a happy day, blessed.

Mystery, a new set/start with cards is a boon, for sure. Have a great time at your dbrother's.

Yes, Cathy's household does sound relaxed and content.

LadyM, it certainly sounds like fun to make them that way. Oh, I assure you, I could mess it up!

My apple pie turned out with no soggy bottom, nicely browned. I had brushed with butter, then watched to see when it got pretty, then let it bake for the last 10 minutes under foil and that seemed to be just right. So, I need to write on the recipe card : "bake 10 minutes past pretty". :)

Fielded a sort of long phone call from a dcousin this evening.

Ddolder texted that her family made it home safe and sound about 9:30 p.m.

Some of the dancing costumes can get a little shocking, Harriet. (Likewise, the dances!)

Well, dh’s alma mater lost to that other team yet again. I believe DS said this is 6 in a row, under 5 different coaches. We just keep finding a way to lose.

Dgd and I enjoyed spending the evening with my cousins though and it was good for her to get to play with the little ones. One brought her nephew and his friend, who are the same age as Dgd, My girl cousins grands are younger, but only by a few years so they played well together.
There were about 27 of us there, including the children, and we were pretty evenly divided as to who we cheered for — maybe a few more on my side.

Anyway, Dgd is sound asleep, I’ve talked to ds and ddil who are on their way home, and I’ll go to bed soon.

Oh — Rose — yes — I think I have some plastic sleeves that will work.
(My problem is still going to be making ME work!)
Tomorrow is another day.
