We've walked.
I did a bit of work in the back yard before that its 49* out; the lattice I had tied to the fence was some down some not so I took all but one
piece down. It was not being effective at keeping the fence fighting dogs stopped anyway that was why I put it up.
Sun was out and that was so wonderful. Wind is so much better too yea!

I started a hot pads and dish cloth for my kitchen hoping I have enough for two of each; I'll put with the others I
have made ahead.

Not sure what's next.
Lunch in a bit I have a plan for one meal.
Thinking on the other one still.

I stuffed the batting I did not use in a smallish pillow case I luv that idea for storing it in a useful way!

I liked the way dson had the game on but it was muted so we could visit at Thanksgiving. Just a thought.
Dsis said she had the fire place screen on with the crackling sounds made it warm and cosy for her Christmas tea.

We are home again and I'm going to nap. Delightful lunch, eventually. More later.

Started our day with a trip to the mini clinic cause Sweetie kept telling me he couldn’t hear. Though it was caused by his cold… wrong!!!

His ears were packed with wax… how knew! Anyway the nurse cleaned his ears and he can now hear.

Went to WM groceries and I fixed Sweetie lunch.

I too have put mattress protectors on sweeties side of the bed.

Warning… this may be too much graphic info for some so skip it if your squeamish…

Sweetie has started playing with his poop. Common with people with Alzheimer’s so I was not surprised because I had read about it. It’s caused by the disconnect between the brain and body functions.

I put an air tag on the I’d Sweetie carries in his pocket. Somehow it got loose. Not a problem cause I have a second one. My son will help me set it up tomorrow.

Before we left today Sweetie asked I keep an eye on him as he didn’t want to get lost. First time he’s ever said that to me. When we were in the grocery store I had to keep my hand on the front of the cart as were went through the store while Sweetie held onto the back. He couldn’t. Maneuver the cart through the islands as he had in the past.

Waving to y’all!

Yesterday was overwhelming with multiple medical appointments, big shopping haul and death of XDSisIL. By the end of the day I was beyond DONE with that day.
This morning, I woke up refreshed, renewed and ready to get started. I have had such a good morning following the pathways and trying to not overthink. Just do the next thing without considering if I want to. Just do it and the rhythm of small successes brings that feel good feeling and the desire to keep going.

Our refrigerator is over stocked. The teens getting 3 big sams pizzas last night didn't help the space needed to host everything. This is a good "problem" to have. I won't be cooking anything for family in the next 24-36 hours.

I did cook myself a big pot of my favorite soup. It turned out soo good....except I can't seem to stop testing the limit on how hot those garden peppers are. REALLY?! Over and over I have proven they are too hot to eat IMHO. Today I decided to drop 2 halves of a pepper into the big pot of soup and just let them simmer. I didn't dice them up so I could easily remove them. Five minutes later I did a taste test of the soup and instantly my nose started running and I broke into a sweat. I quickly removed the peppers from the pot of soup.

I received the 2 planners in the mail that I bought on black Friday. I am enjoying the thoughts of new beginnings as I flip through the pages.

((((RR))))

I went and did more shopping. I found a few stocking stuffers for dh. When I got home he was sleeping again.

Dh is having his spicy Chinese food for supper and I am having Butter Chicken. Easy to do, just heat in the oven and serve.

It has been overcast here all day. It tried to snow and it tried to rain. Thankfully we didn't get much of anything.

hi d Nancy - yay on walking! yay on yard work!

I have been getting lost today - more like I don't want to work. I am wondering if I should read - do laundry and not do any heavy work.

TY Blessed.

I have been attempting to deal with leaves but the wind is a challenge it's still blowing.
The fresh air and bending & stretching is good for me anyway.
[ After lunch ]
I did two rounds. On a break now. Read some in book 12 week year.
Looked at my new crafting type book figured out what I need for stitches on my next project ...
I have more yarn cake balls to make but that will wait until after dark.

Lunch was great in the end. The restaurant they chose was at the end of a day long street festival with the parade going on and ending at just beyond the restaurant. I told dh I would have told them to chose another place that we weren't going to that area this morning but he's too nice to do that. So no parking, and he drives around looking for inexpensive parking until I'm over the top anxious in traffic...restaurant was packed, even outside area, couldn't even find anyone with a list for seating, so we walked a few blocks to another area, a little less crowded. Both restaurants there had 45 min waits and were crowded and busy, so we walked back to the car and drove to a restaurant on the river where there was no wait to sit next to the window facing the river. And the menu there was diverse enough to satisfy everyone. He is a vegan and I guess thinks he can't find it most places? Anyway, I had a lot in common with his wife and we talked and dh and his friend talked. So it all worked out.

And I came home and took a nap. The dog got me up and we walked, and she's now outside. Dh is napping in the sunshine downstairs in front of the TV and he's responsible (ha) for hearing her and letting her back in when she's ready.

When we got home he went to neighbors down the street to see if they could come by later for drinks and snacks. Thank goodness they were busy. I wasn't cooking and entertaining...
