My feeder is super active although the house finches and cardinals are the main visitors. The cardinals seem to be dominate and other birds will leave if they arrive. I did part of the walk inside and part outside, helian. It is in the 20s and a bit windy.

sorry to dissapoint, helia, but that is NOT warming up!
L.Ann, I did remember and finally filled the feeders! But our birds usually start comin in late January, for some reason, not earlier even if we have snow.

I am sorry to say that the situation at work did not get resolved today. Without going to detail, people who do not show up when they are told to provide input should keep their opinions on the result to themselves. If you wanted it differently, you had plenty of time to do it before I had to step in because it was already too late!
Anyway, talks are still under way and it will be kind of a confidence vote. I know I will have at least half the board of directors backing me up, but there will be strong oposition from some other people. I have already looked into other possible jobs - it's that serious. I don't think it will come to that, but I need my professional integrity more than I need this job.

Anyway, I will once again not let that poison my time at home. Jumping where I am!

Lazy morning here. It was below freezing so I had layers on the bed and it was like a weighted blanket, put me in a very deep sleep. Nice on occasion but now I need to shake a leg and do the basics.

L Ann, we have cardinals at our feeder, but they're not a common as other species.
Sleeping under warm blankets in cold weather can make for great sleep, Bama. Dh keeps a bedroom window cracked open 365 days/ year, even when temps outside are below 0F. He sleeps on the side of the bed near the window.
Ugh, trissie. That sounds frustrating. I hope the vote comes out for you and your work. That IS serious.
It sounds like you've been doing some tidying and organizing, Doggedly.

We still have sunshine which is lovely! I might brave a short walk later. I believe my Kroger order has arrived. I forgot to order more siggi yogurt cups for dh, so I need to make a WF run. I need some other things from WF anyway. (There are brands of food items we use that I can only get at one particular store.)
