Got two books

Other one;
The official do not care handbook club

By Melani Sanders ;)

Plus some pink treats to add to my basket & not pink ones too aka chocolate!
Pink yarn too that I luv the color of.

I tried the new sub way wrap thing / they call it something else... protein pocket small but the
chicken one was tasty I had it with out their sauce and had mine from home on it as I knew I

take my victories where I can
Absolutely! YGG

I made a small batch of potato salad. My carb loving DH will eagerly eat potato salad, so I added some shredded cheese and chopped ham to it. The boiled egg, cheese and ham will boost up his protein intake. Hum....at what point does adding extra ingredients to potato salad make it NOT potato salad but something different? LOL

DS17 mattress is coming apart. This is a queen size mattress he received a year or two ago from an elderly couple that he helps out. He loves this mattress because it has blow up air bladders inside but I don't think there is any way to replace the covers. I sent him a link to a mattress at a-river to see if he likes it.

Got a message from DD14 ELA teacher about permission slip needed to publish a story DD14 wrote. I'll talk to DD14 about it after school.

The sun has melted the soil enough to be able to plant potatoes, onion and garlic. I have a stack of them waiting so will be planting some every day. I use a bulb planter, so it is easy to do each one.

rinsed kitchen floor
flip flop laundry
played once with dog.
ate left overs for lunch.

-spent time with mom as she ate breakfast and after breakfast - it takes a lot of time. I want to keep her brain energetic when she is able to.
-I have found that just putting the end of a movie on before her afternoon naps she is ready for a nap. chills out
Today we talked about Charlemagne and the history of France. First we went over pictures of the 1870 Prussian war that took over Alsace/Lorraine. mom loves her French history. We watched a short video of Charlemagne; then put the end of Robin Hood after we talked about King Richard the lionheart. The Errol Flynn movie - and she loved it.

next empty out the junk drawer as it is not closing -furumph
dh wants to help me go through the freezer downstairs -
electricians turned on our electricity in the house again !!! we have been without electricity for 1/4 of the house! yay it's done.

d lady - yay on making potato salad!
lol it is still potato salad :D .
hope your ds gets his mattress soon!
have fun planting potatoes and onions
it is always a joy to be here with you!

TA DA!
I got up, d2s, did short exercise routine, read Upper Room devotional, went to the post office and paid the box rental fee, and went to the dermatologist.
Ugh... she sprayed several spots, but the one that was concerning me, she said was nothing.

Rewarded myself with Chick-fil-a.
Talked to dmom.

Since coming home, I have
* washed the dishes in the sink
* put towels in the dryer
* folded and put away small load of dgrands' clothes
* stripped the bed and put sheets in the washer
* talked to renter (who called while I was out) and I am going to go get the rent from him in just a minute

Next --
[ ] drug store and school pick up.
[ ] type church notes and email to council chair and pastor
Tomorrow is another day.

Twins, what a relief you were able to see the vet this morning. Fingers crossed everything goes well for DMillie with her surgery.

My victories today include a successful (no one was attacked!) vet visit for Freddie for his monthly injection, cleaning the sitting room, hall and stairs, decluttering 2 shelves of the tall kitchen cupboard and tackling some more of the upstairs filing.

Now I'm relaxing with Matilda on my lap and enjoying the quiet house with no TV on, as DH has gone to choral society.

I have gotten the trash can re-booted.
The things for next week need to to be cut in to more manageable pieces.
So as it warms up even more I can use it as part of my healthy exercises for arm work out.

Dinner is prepped I'm cooking veg. to go with it.

Got the knitting past the starting seed stitch now it's to the fun part!

Vacuumed upstairs.

Thanks KittyKatt. I wish I had taken pictures last week before we saw vet on Friday. And I'm now worrying about tumor, benign or not. But she ate well today into tonight. I'll drop in overnight in your thread and say hi if I end up awake and monitoring ddog. I love thinking to myself as I write and would love to chat in the middle of the night.

I've been keeping my head down researching this afternoon, trying not to think about other stuff. Dh came upstairs today to start putting together my little cart for stamping things, to replace the plasticy one. It's going to be a bear to assemble, with seven drawers and side rails to add. Do you remember that I need to run the roomba up here this week (never got to it last week with the battery being dead and the webinar going...) anyway, now the floor has stacks of the cart parts. So I don't think running the rooba is wise.

Dh and I had a sweet treat after supper. We finished the vanilla ice cream and also had some chocolate ice cream along with blackberries that I froze last fall. I defrost them in a plastic baggie that I put into a dish with boiling water. Dh has had 2 mornings with a low blood sugar number. Yesterday he had an orange as soon as he saw the low number. This morning he had his coffee and it helped get the number higher. I'm doing this to see how tomorrow morning goes.

When we run out of blackberries, I have some local strawberries in the freezer from last June that I would like to have with the chocolate ice cream.
