Morning all. I'm glad the new medical center seems efficient and you got taken care of right away kittykat. I'm hoping with you that dh gets his retirement. I'm hearing he must be very tired of his job.

Trissie I hope you can solve this car trouble ASAP. The electronics of newer cars are almost worse than older because it's hard to find. I missed what is happening. Probably in yesterday's post.

I think I get a home day today. At least I will make it so. My turn for a cold. I made it through work yesterday and left an hour early. just cause I was done with anything productive and the Tylenol cold wore off. Head cold it seems. I am going to skip bible study because we have had such a nasty bug going through the church family and finally maybe everyone is better. I don't want to give it back to someone who just got over it. Dad had it last week when I took him to the hospital...

I think I will take it easy. Take something soon. And see if I can actually find some cleaning energy. Maybe go to town later if I feel like I'm up to it.

Glad to hear Doggedly is feeling better - what a good head for a mystery you have, Doggedly. That would make an interesting detective story.

I learned something, trissie, but I freely admit I learned on the second reading. (smile - good for the brain)

Feel better, Lauralind and KittyKatt.

I'm very hopeful I find the same good responsiveness at a new-to-me medical center today. When I went previously to a similar test, a year or two ago, the tech had "a chip on her shoulder", perhaps? We were into a nearly antagonistic relationship before I knew what had happened. I remember I simply stopped moving. When she realized I wasn't going to continue walking forward, I guess the futility of treating me as if I was responsible for whatever was bothering her was obvious, and we were onto a much better footing. I remember thinking my younger self might have been intimidated. It's good to be seasoned mature.

WTG with all those achievements, kitkat.
I think that's about our bird feeder rate too, L Ann. We've also seen some birds dig through the seeds to find what they like, ending up spreading a bunch of on the ground and emptying it faster.
I hope you found the car title, Bama.
Maturity is good, Harriet, but so is a kind and helpful med tech, which I hope you get today.
Please get better soon, Lauralind. Taking it easy today sounds good.

I'm home from the gym; my arms are tired so I know I did something. I've showered and had part of my lunch. I'm going to finish unpacking my gym bag and then get the WF grocery errand done.

Next:
- put away gym bag stuff
- WF errand
- put away groceries

Later:
- put away groceries
- payroll: prep AR D1
- payroll: message students
- payroll: syllabus
- NY cards progress
- writing time
- refill bird feeder?
- bring in firewood
- bring back bins from the street
- other things?
- dinner: vinegar chicken and olives, rice, roasted veggie mix - maybe root veggies??
- after dinner clean up
- duolingo
- update health apps

TaDas
- up; weighed self, moving down
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- reclaimed kitchen
- some qt
- back exercises
- touch base with the girls
- 10 - 10:40 payroll meeting - got calendly connected to my work email + my work zoom
- payroll: arranged coffee with AC tomorrow morning
- gathered stuff
- gym - swimming
- s2s and self care
- home; lunch

Thanks, Kittykatt. It looks like your move to the new health centre has worked out even better than you anticipated. :)

Thanks, trissie. That gives a clear idea of why cat bites are worse for infections.
That saying holds so much truth. The times that I have overloaded myself because I don't want to carry more than two loads up from the car, LOL.

Thanks, kitkat. Good luck in your Quest For Shoes!

LOL, helia, I am the author of my own complications. Moving things around in my apartment is like playing that tile puzzle with the one free square, and I have never been good at that puzzle. As I advance in decluttering, that should help eventually.
It's lovely that you get to get together with your DDs to exercise. Staying in one another's lives without having to push.

I'm at the end of Page 1. Time to get up.

thankd for the new philosopher today, trissie, that is a very good description why cat bites get infected, inflamed so quickly and seriously.
tetanus is every 10 years here too, unless there is an even prior.
today is catch up on yesterday's list, which I don't have time to go back and find, then copy.
jsut to say, I'm working on it. BBL
