We do not get a low of snow but every few years we get a lot like 12" to 15" not unusual around us in the higher country.
Only 1/4" that melts off in a few hrs. after a week of below freezing with out snow happened this year.

I've gotten dressed
Boiled & peeled eggs.
Put out the things in the can.
QT. X
Music time awakened warrior yt channel Yeshua is in the title of one song very helpful as they are singing scriptures.

I've cleaned one of the kitchen sinks.
Spiffed part of the counters up.

Frost is slowly melting today.
Speaking of your tube I've changed the name of mine added and s and a couple of other letters removed
as there were other channels with the same name, one of the items on my anti p. list I've been meaning to do for
way to long. Ideas Factor is the current name now.

Walk x
Stopped all the mid week meetings as I was feeling like I was loosing too much time for things I wanted & needed for other stuff.

Costumelady, I'm not as busy as I used to be with temple - was treasurer several years and president three years and then past president four (still on Exec. committee). I've been out of it for well over 10 years and am dipping my toe back in.

I think I'm feeling resentful about meeting tonight and losing my evening, and I lost Tuesday evening too. I'm still thinking I won't make it to workout. I just want some extra time now and I'm feeling bratty about it.

And my head hurts.

I went to Costco today. I had to renew my membership. I downgraded it as well. I don't buy as much as I used to.
Then I went to Walmart and filled a cart. Most of it is away. Then I decided I had better have some lunch.

PSW called while I was out, so dh was alone with her. I've been wanting to do this for a while, so now dh has said I don't have to be here when they are coming any more. It took him a while to get comfortable enough to do this, so I'm happy.

All is well. She said she could do a culture with the discharge, but if I preferred, that could wait, and I told her yes — that we did too much last year and I didn’t want anything else this year! She seemed to think if I had no other symptoms that could wait. Whew!

So I have got the vacuum cleaner out of repair, and swapped/replaced dmom’s birthday gift, ate at my favorite hamburger place (Freddy’s) and now I am going to the movie.
Costume lady — thanks for all the comments—I will respond later when I am not having to type on the phone.

LucyLee - glad you visit with doctor went well.

Cathy - this is a great milestone for your DH to reach being comfortable with PSW people.
I just watched a utube about Niagara Falls & Hamilton posted by a channel that I have watched for years. I don't know how close you live to where she was filming but it was fun for me to pretend that I was seeing a part of your world.

We had a lifelong friend drop by for a visit. We were outside talking and enjoying the 80ish temps and sunshine the whole time they were here.

I've done the last school pickup for this week, which gives me a feeling of freedom.

I may stick around and see Wuthering Heights after Elvis “has left the building.”

Disappointed to have missed almost all of House Fairy Thursday, but I knew I would be away from the computer.

HRH's eye appt shows him stable as expected. He did get a better, or at least less expensive, recommendation for one of his eye drops, so he's pleased about that. An appt was made for me for next month.

Some friends near the eye doctor happened to be home so that was an excuse to go by and meet their new dog.

Here at home, except for laundry and continued kitchen focus, most progress has been on sewing.
Because I had the kitchen bar clear (yay) I was able to get some large cutting and pinning done there.

DgdC and her Daddy came by and chatted, had some cookies with us. She is explaining lowest common denominator quite well, made a 100 on her test.

Thanks for the update, Nancy.

LadyM, your flower success got me to researching a little because I only know dianthus as an annual, so I learned that it can be perennial, or even something in between, surviving just 2 or 3 years. Still can't quite get the differences between bachelor's buttons (which I've heard many times), "pinks", mini-carnations (?), cornflower... .. They must be much-loved if there are so many ways to refer to them. Never had any to show up the second year, I don't think - maybe I didn't give a chance? I noticed lots of good advice for propagating from cuttings to save money on more plants, but I know I would have a tendency to get carried away.

Thank you for that video LadyM. Most of the hotels are full all year around in Niagara Falls and people travel from all over the world to see them even in the winter. Niagara Falls has only frozen over at the base once since tourists starting going there and that was over 100 years ago. The water was still moving under the ice. I'm so happy they showed the poutine. It looked like it was well made because the cheese curds were nice and melted looking. Pistachio gelato is a favourite flavour of mine and dh's. I'm also happy they filmed the brink of the falls, which is my favourite view, seeing the water go right over the top of the rock, It's such a favourite of mine that I have a black and white picture of it right over my monitor where I can see it every time I look past my monitor. By the way, the boats that go from the American Falls towards the Canadian Falls don't go under or behind the Canadian Falls. It's too turbulent to actually get very close. It looks and feels close, but from above you can watch to see how far out they actually are.

Harriet, I just made to stoles for my rector and my deacon at church - I used their favorite stoles as a pattern to copy and made them out of orange patterned fabric and orange satin fabric for back lining. On the first Sunday of the month we have gun safety awareness and wear orange. My husband and I have these bold bright orange clothes for the occasion. We will not be here this Sunday alas - we are going to Chicago for the weekend to see Hamlet and Hamnet. Short little 2 night trip, mostly for Saturday.

LadyM I have a black thumb, I would love to grow plants but the only thing I can keep alive are 2 aloes and a jade because they are very forgiving. We grew (well I should say my sons did) a herb and some veggie garden and had a modicum of success but it cost more to plant it than the produce we got out of it. I would love to be able to start from seed, it would be so much cheaper.

Lucylee I hope you enjoyed your movie.

Tonight we went to a meeting about Trinity Haven which is an organization that helps provide housing for LGBTQ+ college students who have been abandoned by their family - they stay with you on holidays and summers. We are interested in being hosts once my sons finally launch so we will start as ambassadors.

DS27, made manicotti for a late supper. I should take an omeprazole before bed.

Twinsmom - I totally get you about feeling like you give up too much of your time. My husband and I are so deeply engrossed in busy we don't know what to do when we aren't. Tonight we had the Trinity Haven meeting, I missed the outreach meeting because I was house hunting with ds31, but we carted in like 20 washed table clothes and 2 huge grocery bags full of cookies and snacks for coffee hour (we are the coffee ministers but Daughters of the King (DOK) (of which I am President ) is in charge of Coffee hour which is good because I am out of town. I washed all of the table cloths from our Pops Gala fundraiser for choir - they just looked nasty. I have gone in to the church so much this week it is crazy. I am on a lot of committees and the ones I am not on, my husband is one. He is on Vestry, buildings and grounds, Finance and Men's breakfast. I am on Woman's breakfast, bell choir, outreach, DOK, the Children's Chaplain for Children's chapel, Pastoral Care ( we care for a shut in woman by doing her shopping and taking her to appointments etc), We are both acolytes, ushers and chalice administrators. We also restarted Parish Life (we are the party people) It is a lot but we do like it.

CathyS, we just joined Costco (we are boycotting Sams) but we have to drive an hour to shop there. We will probably stop on our way home on Sunday. I loved visiting Niagra Falls.

Nancy - we have low snow years most of the time but this year we have been snowed on 4 times, once was 15 inches - my dachshund fell off the porch and was gone, I had to dig him out. LOL Dh's snow blower broke and he bought a new one that came in the morning of the 15 inch 2 day snow storm - we were so grateful. It took weeks to melt. Last week it got up to 62 degrees and I rode with my top down in my car.
