I placed and online order for 6 pantry items to replenish stock and 3 types of jeans for DS17 to try. That took me 23 minutes which is better use of my time than driving to/from the store and doing a pickup order or shopping the aisle myself. Although it is almost a guarantee DS17 won't like all 3 types of jeans so I will be doing a return at some point in the future.

Checking in, I've been stamping but I'm thinking I'll spend some time at my desk now. Haven't wanted to even think about Harpers since I went down the rabbit hole by mistake the other day.

Dinner out last night with friends was lovely, they came back here for awhile after. She wanted some thank you cards so I let her choose and she wanted to pay me. We finally agreed but I didn't want the $8 each price I had at the temple, so she paid five per card. Sometimes I'd like to have somewhere to sell some cards, not so much to recoup my costs but because I think they're beautiful!

Tonight is a Rotary club social. I'll need to s2s first.

I'm ready for us to head out a little later. We walked the dog together, I'm glad that he's been going with us in the afternoon. It's a gorgeous day. We may be going to the river tomorrow with A and V.

I didn't do much today. I took out the bathroom and kitchen garbage. I turned on the dishwasher.

Around here "Canadian" bacon is called peameal bacon because it has a yellow coating on top. We also just call them "geese" but some people on social media call them "Cobra chickens" because they can be vicious when they are nesting/protecting their young. I do know that people just mostly complain about what they leave behind if they go po op on your lawn. That stuff is slippery. (Hence, the saying "Slick as goose sh..")

It was a gorgeous day here but the temperature is going down with snow expected overnight. Not a lot of snow, but March is "coming in like a lion" which is nice because that means it should go out "like a lamb". Only 3 more weeks of winter. YAY!!

I walked around the house and gathered all of the laundry. Now it's getting washed.

I think the only things to do tomorrow will be bed sheets and litter boxes.

I called my Dgd and she could not help.
But I did figure it out eventually.

Harriet, are you talking about the book about the misunderstood women of the Bible? This is the first thing I've read by this author, and yes, the fictionalized part at the beginning of each story sometimes probably stretches a bit, but some things we questioned and searched the scripture and found where she based that part of her story.
I think the pastor wants to do another study on the overlooked women, but she wants to do it as a lunchtime study during the week, and as I've said before, I am just full. I do not want to commit to ANY thing else on my calendar right now. I know it seems like I have a lot of free time, and I would have more if I didn't sleep my mornings away... but that is when I can sleep and I think at 64 years old, I should be able to choose how I spend at least part of my time!
I just got through preparing tomorrow's Sunday School lesson for the three little girls.

THIS morning, dgrands called me FIVE times before I was ready to get up, asking when I was going to come get them. SMH. I asked them did they think I was running Disneyworld over here? What was so exciting about my house? They said they just wanted to come over. So they've been here since before noon. DGD actually helped me clean the garage floor -- where all the shingle gravel had blown in. It was a HUGE mess. We worked on it a couple hours! After we swept up all we could, we sprayed it with the strongest setting on the water hose, and it looks a LOT better. The patio still needs some work, but I may make this an hour by hour task, doing a little bit at a time, like LadyM goes out to her garden.

I talked to dmom, dh's cousin, and dfriend today, so have caught up on a lot of the social aspects. Dfriend texted me to ask about another lady at church, a classmate of hers and my dmom's. This lady seems to be in great health and shows up every week for chair yoga (until this past Wednesday!) -- and yesterday she had triple bypass surgery! I am getting word from my Sunday School class, and I was just getting out of the shower when I saw dfriend's text, so I just called her -- I talk better than I text. Apparently, the lady who had the heart attack is doing as well as doctor could hope or expect, said she was up in a chair and all numbers are good, but what a shock. She had a mild heart attack a few years ago and recognized the signs Tuesday night, so went to ER, had heart cath Wednesday, and surgery yesterday.

Three more weeks of winter. YES.
DST next week. My mother will be happy. I don't really care, except I hate losing that hour next Saturday night.

I love to see Canadian geese -- I don't see them a lot here, so their droppings are never a problem.
I also love Canadian bacon on the Egg McMuffin. And on a meat lover's pizza.
