Dogged Yes! Pansies are OK outside now... There is actually a special kind that does well in our climate. Icicle Pansies.
In my old yard they often seeded themselves - nice surprise.

Kittykatt, I think that explains why pansies hate me. By the time I am putting them outside, it's already too hot for them. We don't tend to have a nice long spring with reasonable temperatures. Our spring is more like rain-snow-rain-snow-rain-snow-GREEEEEEEEEEN-hot-hot-hot.
The roofers will be lining up for your next jobs. I'll bet that they don't get tea and shortbread everywhere they go.

kitkat, that shows the difference in our climate, though we are not that far apart. We don't have any flowers outside the grocery stores yet. We still have the ground mostly covered in snow, with some brown showing. Enjoy your pansies! I do love them, even if they don't love me, LOL.

I am up. Germane did not wake up to get her heart pill, which can't be taken before or after food. Can I sneak in some breakfast before she wakes up?

Snow is gone, thank goodness. It is going to be 6C for our high... right now it's a sunny 2 C - good enough for my walk:)It's all over the place: 11 C tomorrow, minus 11C Friday night....

helia - thank you. She managed to get rid of a (large) piece of ornamental grass - seems to be OK now.
We had a great (3K) walk. She did not react to any dogs... not even to reactive ones. I was just sad to hear that the man hit his dog .... I did not want to turn around to see that, but I could hear it

LAnn, it’s nice to not have to cook and clean up. I love certain leftovers, like spaghetti, so make extra. I ate spaghetti sandwiches a couple of times last week.
