I think part of my trouble with pictures is I only post from my phone. I could probably use ds computer but it's attached to the big TV screen. I can do everything I need just fine on phone. But I bet pictures are way easier with a desktop or laptop.

I could email the picture. I did try to use the Google search on it. Close but not quite right. I actually forgot the rest of the yarn and a big stack of pattern books at dad's. It could be in there. Unless it was just on a yarn wrapper. She had lots of those saved too. It's got to be there somewhere cause she was using it. Just need to get there. I'll look first and then see if I can email it.

Got to get my dailies done and head to a plant nursery. They posted they have kumquats and satsumas so I’m hoping they have some left.
My cobbler last night was delicious and used up all the blackberries I picked. We didn’t get many this year.

Now, I'm not sure it was a goldfinch. Looking at bird images online - I don't think it's yellow was that bright. Maybe it was a female? I don't remember how pronounced the wing stripes were.

Thanks, helia. It's a double CD set and I listened to both before going to bed. Germane was so happy to be out of her pen that I don't think that she noticed much else. She used to happily spend my work shift in her pen before the pandemic, but she's gotten out of the habit and expects me to be home with her all of the time now.
Your supper sounds very practical and delicious.

Dogged, Jude also has DH well trained. On the days he WFH, she requires attention from him, and biscuit. If he fails on either count, she either walks across his keyboard, or presses the off button on his laptop, or pulls all the cables out.

It's been a good day. Church was lovely and parish lunch went well. Afterwards I stayed chatting with DF PM for a long while. I did a little in my front garden, and then sat out there enjoying the sun with my cup of tea. The groceries have been delivered and PA, and I made chicken soup for supper. Matilda is now on my lap. When she gets off, I think I'll go to bed as I'm starting to fall asleep,.and I have an early start tomorrow.

Howdy. Today turned into an errand day. One local nursery got in satsumas and kumquat plants so I have acquired 2 of each. Now I am on the hunt for milkweed. Dd went with me so we ate out at a place she hasn’t been, they make homemade smash burgers and frings (a mix of onion rings and French fries for people like me who can’t decide which one to get), went to a thrift store we haven’t been to before (I got a crystal mini vase and crystal small baby carriage, and a marble lemon), I’ve been wanting a lemon flavored smoothie so settled for a slush, then the farmers market had yellow watermelons so I got some of those. All in all a good trip. Tonight I think we will eat out at a Mexican restaurant and I can get my tacos plus it’s right beside a Lowe’s so I can check out their plants. I’ve unloaded the car. I need to water everything and wait for dh to get home and see if he is up for eating out.
