Ugh. Just realized, after arranging dinner, that I have an 8 p.m. zoom meeting re: genealogist certification renewals. So dinner is rescheduled to 5:45 tonight so I can get home. It's not something I could skip, and it's not recorded.

Re: Three Cheers for Tuesday's Ta Das!
I did adult things today. We dropped off our taxes. Dh put gas in the truck. I remained very patient as dh drove us to large city to the east of us, took the wrong exit to go to the buffet restaurant and continued to drive on streets neither one of us knew until, 20 minutes later (I looked at the clock in the truck) we got back on the highway and went to a fish and chip place for a very late lunch. We just got home for goodness sake. We left to drop off the taxes at 12:30. Even with the stop for gas we should have been at the buffet restaurant in less than 20 minutes. We have gone to this buffet restaurant numerous times in the past 11 years. He did say that he should have gone the way I said to go when we got off of the highway. (Straight ahead until you get to such and such street). Instead he turned right and then left. At that point I was already lost. I won't forget my phone at home if we ever go there again. Dh never brings his phone anywhere.
We also got the PVR settings changed so we aren't recording anything. Dh's best friend laughed when he saw how many things dh had set to record every single day.
Dh also found out how to post things on his phone for FBook.

Trash and recycling Ta Das here.
hi back, atlantic flyer
HRH chatting with a friend who's feeling down - I'm trying to stay out of the way of that.
Gee, a lot of sobering stuff for us today.
We did have some rain.
Tentative plans for Errand Day tomorrow, 3 stops.

I have a load in the dryer to get out.
Thinking of more weeding but had a bit of a rash from stocked weed,
I need to put on gloves and longer sleeves before I do it any more. I could dig some
stuff out with the shovel too. Next I need to get the next can out to fill up when I"m
ripping out the vol. onions.

Re: Three Cheers for Tuesday's Ta Das!
I still haven't got the sheets back on the bed, but I did dust the den very well, top to bottom. Zone cleaning. Approx. 30 minutes -- and I was working with a Swiffer! But I was moving a LOT of picture frames and other misc. stuff. Probably not the best timing in the world, considering the sinus/allergy thing I have going on... but I was taking advantage of the energy from the steroids.
(I am still coughing and blowing my nose a lot -- as former doctor would say, I would think I was blowing my brains out if it wasn't so much!)
But my head no longer feels like it is going to burst every time I move or cough or sneeze. That is BIG progress.
No ballgame tonight. So far we've only had rain. I sat on the front porch for a while... thought about all the people in dh's family who were there to welcome his cousin this morning when she arrived in Heaven.
Need to check in with ddil, see how the Staff-Parrish meeting went tonight.
Need to get those sheets on the bed. Maybe an early bedtime tonight.

Re: Three Cheers for Tuesday's Ta Das!
Had a long visit with ds this evening. He kept saying he had to leave and never did sit down. That was very typical, though, of all my uncles, standing up the whole time they were visiting with anyone. They never had time to stay long, but did.
We had leftovers for supper, nothing the same for either of us.
I didn't get to as many loads of laundry as I wanted today, but still pleased. Have the last load gathered and ready.
Well, atlantic flyer, at least you got it done.
Congratulations to your dgd for her runs in the ballgame, lucylee. Is dgs feeling better? No, maybe you shouldn't have actually CHASED the dust down today? lol about steroid energy. Oh well, the point of swiffer cloth is to hold dust, so maybe not such a bad idea if maybe it held it somewhat away from YOU.
Oh, Cathy, how frustrating to have such a long drive. Glad you got nice fish and chips out of it, though.
Nancy, I hope the rash is over quickly. Yes, protect those hands and arms and just in case you come in contact with it again, wash up with soap, too.
If weather allows us tomorrow, we will be out on errands for some of the morning.
