I spent some time in the garden, in the kitchen and visiting with some lifelong friends. I am no longer mad, but simply resolved to make some changes & move on with life. In the overall grand scheme of things, DS52 was going to have to be involved in our finances eventually. I thought it would be after we died. We just moved up the timetable a bit with getting him involved now. DS52 enjoys dealing with all aspects of stock, bonds, investments, etc so this is not difficult for him to jump in and help me with the decisions. I just wish our financial advisory of 30ish years hadn't failed us. I considered him a friend and don't like letting relationships end. ***deep breathe*** Moving on.....

Our ready-to-eat tub in the refrigerator is overflowing now. Two types of chicken, rack of ribs, 2 types of sausages, deviled eggs, hamburger patties....along with multiple side dishes. Depending on how much the teens eat, I might not need to cook for a day or two.

Now it is time for me to get back to regularly scheduled program of life.

Next up -
** Do the morning cards that were abandoned when I got distracted by financial dealings.

I went to knitting. On the way to knitting I stopped at one bank. We have more money in there than I realized. How the heck does that happen? It was a nice surprise.

Then when I got home, our tax info was in the mail box. Dh owes a bit, so there goes that money. The funny thing is that the money deposited by the Canada Revenue Agency last week is now going to pay the Canada Revenue Agency the next time I go to the bank. Sheesh.
