Sorry about your tummy, Mystery, and I truly feel for you since we had to get the new daily liquid med out of my life because of worrisome digestive side effects. In a way, I feel like I'm recuperating now, and I hope you had nothing but a random something-or-other, having nothing to do with meds.
I'm recording my meals and, while being gentle with myself, I'm trying to get good variety of nutrition, too. Checking off the beans and grains, etc. Made a smoothie of lots of fruit and the new kale we just got.
Oh, and Nancy, avocado, too. That is a cool treat sometimes, isn't it?
Was going to make a big salad today, but I believe that needs to be tomorrow. I'm feeling the lack of large plastic lidded bowls around here - we've lost some to too much use.
LadyM, so nice that you had pleasant gardening time, and even peppers. WonderBoy reports that the unusual pepper plant we brought home for him almost a month ago is yielding a lot now. He is the adventurous eater in our family in every way, and certainly with peppers. But that one was greenhouse-grown and marketed as a basket gift at Mother's Day (it was gorgeous even then), so you are definitely ahead of our growing season.
Feline chat - Tobias does not hate the new toy. Every once in a while, we hear that he is batting at it (ping-pong balls roll around and hit each other). It does not inspire him to actually stand up, just to lie down nearby and flick a paw. But the stick that cost a little more than a dollar? (dgdC has already reminded me she would have made it for free - turned out to be not much better than a twig she might pick up in my yard plus my own wide ribbon) That stick is the most exciting prey in the house.
Desk Day is finished successfully with bills to go, waiting in the basket by the door.
Laundry load done, clothes hanging.
