Oh, my goodness, Cathy! That lady needs to find a different spot in her house and see if she likes the quilt there! Or folded over couch or something. Yes, it can certainly take a long time to make, depending on pattern and quilting. Did she bring parts of the project as she worked on it over the time, or was that an at-home project she just chatted about with your group?
Nancy, cleaning under the mower deck can be hard work.
Happy Day to Matilda.
Hmmm... just beige, Kittykatt? I would wash away, I think. Or boredom would overtake me.
We enjoyed making a good supper this evening. Corn on the cob is back in the kitchen for the season, yay!
Ddil, ds and dgdC walked over to pick up the truck, so I got to see it up close and the interior. Very well taken care of.
DgdC brought me crocheted flowers and a crocheted bee she had found, in a honey bottle, so cute. Inside a card with it she had written, "you are fun and funny". I fear I have truly bored my grands lately, with less energy, so I hope she does have a relatively good time here. She likes the snacks, lol.

Harriet, to be fair there were also black clothes in store as well, and a really vivid fluorescent green (think high-vis jackets colour!) but the overwhelming colour was beige. Of course, it was "dressed up" with other names : ecru/ stone/ putty/oatmeal/ sand etc, ( who thinks of these names?) but, in reality, just slightly different shades of beige!
