I'm thinking of the foods we like for new years cheese dip with veggies and hoping I can get
hats done in a timely fashion now that it's cold it's way more fun to do work on bigger projects
like a shawl! I have one nearly done now. I need to get these ready to go.

•Prepare all packages for mailing and mail this week and next. Mail all overseas cards.
•Plan a caroling evening or other social family evenings.
•Procure and water the Christmas tree!
•Order turkey.
•Are we having the company Christmas party? See checklist.
•Read "The Polar Express" aloud to kids."

I need to get hair color.
Get the kitchen cleaned up.
Bring up the tree; nativity sets, and find the book of the Christmas story that goes with the
wood block set.
Thinking about what to have for Christmas dinner and plan a menu
I need to get a can of lite fruit cocktail for the red Jell-o salad.
Get post card stamps and get Christmas post cards made out and ready to send.

"We are gearing up to take this Cruise through the Holidays to a new level! It is time for all of us to get ready! If you are currently celebrating your Holiday or getting ready in a few weeks, come aboard and get moving!

Because we will not get through all of the Zones before some of the holidays this month, we are going to have missions that will take us outside of our current zones to maintain, pamper ourselves and
decorate! We are FLYing!!

Your mission for today is to spend 15 minutes decorating something in your home. It could be some lights around the entrance area, a wreath, whatever. Don't overwhelm yourself and drag every decoration you own out, just select a few special items and start your decorations. You may have already started this and that is great. If you have managed to get all of your decorations up already, then take a few moments to put away the boxes and "stuff" that seems to pile up from the decorations. Get the boxes put away and ready for when you will need to bring them out again in a few weeks to put the decorations away. This makes the Holiday clean up so much easier!!

every year I give a gift to myself and my family (things I will try to focus on during the year) mostly new habits.
that I try to get in and if I don't it's okay because its the trend.

one year it was making dinners on a regular basis. I have gotten that one finally.
another one for me was years ago when I gave myself the 6 tape set from pam and peggy that I would try to get dejunked and that one took me years.

this years gift to myself is fittness.
this years gift to my family (mostly girls) church (I used to go to church on a regular basis but have fallen away from that even though I am very faithful and do bible study on my own) but going to service has not been my strong point lately as I don't agree with some things the church says. I used to be a eucharistic minister until I was told I had to eat the host that fell on the church floor during service. couldn't do it. but I am still very faithful. but I need to let my own children grow in their faith by example.

They are now trying to revise some building rules (I think this is in the national level) that would make Church's way of doing things unlawful. Some churches have sinks with drains, but the drain gets spilled out onto their lawn somewhere. It is for the purpose of their leftover wine not going into the sewer. New regs make this illegal, but they are trying to change this ruling.

I understand eating the host from the floor. Some churches feel the host becomes the actual body, not just a symbol of, and not to be simply thrown away. Interesting.

I now have 2 gifts bought. Making progress like a snail!
