I really understand that about the host, but the person stepped on it and left it and common sense said not to eat it and I couldn't, but I found others feel that is sacreligous. I really have a hard time with that. so I let others do that job now. I really loved being a eucharistic minister and miss it. I also couldn't drink the wine in cold season. Our church doesn't believe in throwing it on the ground, the minister must drink it all. I attended a christian service once where everyone got little plastic cups and used the churches garbage and that was emptied out later. I know some believe it's wrong to wash the napkins in the washing machine as that goes to the sewer.
I was raised in Catholic schools and taught ccd/rep and loved the experience as well.

HOLIDAY SUPER CRUISING MISSION #2 (flylady)
Today is the day to dive into your linen closet for 15 minutes. Put away all the Thanksgiving linens and make sure that you have sheets and blankets ready for any guests that you will be having for the holidays. This is really easy if you just cleaned up from Thanksgiving. Get any table linens ready for your Holiday meals and also make sure that you have plenty of dish towels and bath towels laundered and ready to go. Set that timer! We are FLYing!!! Make a list if you need to purchase anything new.

Re: Holiday grand plan 2010
sent out more Christmas cards and found I am 19 Christmas cards short. geesh.
instead of making more copies of grandpere's picture I will just use cards from last year.
My Christmas cards are done and most sent.

Re: Holiday grand plan 2010
More than half my cards in mail, and all the rest need mainly signatures. HRH has such beautiful handwriting that I always beg him to be the one to sign them. Just a few more personal notes, and I am holding out HRH's sister and brother's cards in case we decide to put the date of our get-together into them. 6 or 7 personal letters included - very glad to get some of them out quickly because they had tidbits of info others will need as they write their own cards.
I do 40. How many are you doing, blessed? This was my year for getting rid of some of these leftover cards, in my hopes of becoming more organized and knowing exactly what I own, so it has taken longer. It always takes longer when things can't be assembly-lined. Next year I'll buy 40 of exactly the same thing and exactly the same sticker for the back, too!
We save one card from every new batch so we'll know what cards we sent over the years - I like that. As I work on the cards, I do make a page of notes for what card was sent to what person and especially note any photograph that went out to someone.
