Tonight, DH and I weren't hungry, but we needed to eat, as it was getting later. We just each ate a grilled cheese sandwich. It hit the spot, it filled us up, and they were delicious, too. :D :D

nothing better than grilled cheese! I love it w tomato soup!

happy cooking!

tonight: I have walleye broiled topped with lemon. I also have green beans I will cook and add a little garlic and shallots/a touch of butter to them. I topped the green beans with some left over tomato topping from the appetizer I made yesterday (tomato salad topped feta/cream cheese crostini), I also had a small bunch of radishes and I cooked them as Laura Calder does: a little water, s/p, a touch of sugar and a bit of butter (it takes away the zing of the radishes).

tomorrow I have to use up what I have.
I still have a cabbage, some beef tips, lots of onions. so I am thinking.
I have scallops that are fresh and thinking that will be the day after tomorrow.

great d nancy!!!

tonight I was going to use the morel and other wild mushrooms for chicken but d mom and I are going to church.

tomorrow I am planning to make the scallops seared to serve celeriac and golden potatoes blended (Ina Garten's recipe) (we are going downtown so I shall see) my d h is a hot dog/fanatic and he eats junk stuff all the time... so I need to find something healthy tomorrow - might have to insist.
