I go to classes only at the gym... on rare occasion might use treadmill or elliptical. (I get bored too easily - classes "force me" to stay on track)

trissie - I agree... cooking, basic sewing, small repairs should be taught to both girls and boys. AI is not about to take those over... My older ones will be doing sewing camp. Both are competent with a needle and a sewing machine.

Hello, all! I am up and dressed, and have a 10 minute break hoping that the washing machine in the laundry room will be emptied out. If it is the person that I'm thinking of, she is much better at flipping her laundry right away than I am, so I live in hope. I only need one dryer for my two machines, so we can coexist happily.

I'm so glad that your temperatures are starting to drop, Kittykatt. Sorry that you still have to deal with them, trissie. Did you get any explanation of where they came from? We are braced for hot summer here because of a "super El Nino" forming in the Pacific. It will hit the west coast and work its way across the continent.

My time's up. Off to check the laundry room.

I like Baldacci’s books, KitKat but they are more the adventure/thriller type books like the Jack Reacher books if you have heard of those. I have Theo of Golden on reserve but it hasn’t come in yet. The soup works because it just needs to be microwaved since it was in the freezer… no kitchen mess up or thought involved!

Guess I fell back asleep instead of getting up and moving. (My fitbit says it takes me about 6 minutes at night to fall asleep, so you can guess how tired I am when I hit the bed!)
Was re-awakened by dfBS housekeeper who called me because my door bell didn't ring. SO, that's something else that needs to be fixed!

I'll have to look up campanulas.

weed garden, plant new bean seeds (rabbits ate my babies)
take down rusty clothes line - see if I have any fresh I can replace it with. Otherwise, I have 2 lines that are still OK.

That's not fun with the campanula, Kittykatt, but forewarned is forearmed. Preferably with long sleeves and gloves on the forearms.

Set up chair cane to sit and read while I waited for the colours load to finish.

I finished prayer shawl for young lady at our church who is graduating next year. Pat on my back, I am done a year ahead, and I brought it to church so they can store it.
The secretary at my insurance agent's office is always cold. I found a warm cozy throw at my house that I don't want, and brought it to her desk. Always good to get things out of the house!
Got the rusty clothes line down (it was plastic coated wire, plastic had cracked thorugh the years) and into the garbage bin.
Time to put on 'work clothes,' weed garden, check mother's house, mail and dehumidifiers, water trees he city planted - and is supposed to tend, but a little extra water won't hurt in the heat.
Go for my daily mile walk - It's half mile to her house - I might combine the 2.
Bills to pay, to get into the mail tomorrow

Congratulations to your DS, Trissie! That is a lovely way to end the year. I am still moving thru a fog, GMA. I am hoping my body can get on east coast time soon. I don’t need to get up at any time tomorrow which should help! Couple more and then crashing.
