helian - we've been working on reactivity and she is doing really well on our quiet streets. This was a true test for both of us:
at the exact spot she pulled me off a chair (as we sat in front of the coffeeshop) last year in pursuit of a little fluffy dog Came back to me all remorseful but my ankle/foot/toes and my knees were messed for a few weeks. (I did have a sense of deja vu this morning)

Dogged I think some schools are air-conditioned but not all of them... At my dkids elementary school there was absolutely no shade in the yard either... Always felt sorry for the kids, especially those in the summer camps.

I'm glad for your beautiful summer day, Gma. They are what gets us through the winter.
That's a good point about the electrolytes. I drink so much water on a normal day that when I ramp up for heat I could well be throwing things out of balance. This gives me an excuse to pick up some V8 when I'm grocery shopping.

It sounds like you are slowly getting back to your own time zone, L.Ann. And DD33 is enthusiastic to get back to her routines.

I've had an easy day. I have washed my hair and walked Germane, and that's about it for excitement.
