oh, kitkat, tomorrow will be a better day!

Wow. I just checked my fitbit - I'm only 900 steps short of my goal for each day. I can do that! I was expecting to be about 3,000 behind. I guess I moved more than I thought. Trip to Menards helped - the door I wanted to look at was at the back of the store!
We are under a hot humid dome. 90+ all day, I think we are now, 930pm, down into the 80s so I can do a short walk, then come back and mix a batch of what many call biscotti, but my grandmother called Swedish rusks. My dbro and sil are coming tomorrow, and I want to have some treats ready for them. I have a long list to do tomorrow - he's not arriving until about 6pm.

My db has that issue with his skin, kitkat. He wears long sleeved shirts to protect his arms because that's where the damage usually happens.
Our air quality warning has cleared up. Now there's a heat warning.

Unfortunately, I think that we are joining you in your heat dome, Gma. WTG on getting your steps in.

Oops--sorry about that, trissie. That's a pretty big oversight on my part. I need to pay attention better.

No worries, I am glad you made that mistake - it made me look if there was anything on the travel portal going from Prague to Romania and I found that they do these 4 or 7 day fly-in guided tours of Romania, covering both the hills and the pitoresque towns (including Count Dracula castle), so that's now on my wish list!
