Kitkat, I think that we are all sliding into the same heat dome. Our forecast is for 98 F and 109 F with the humidex. A good day to stay close to the air conditioner!
You got your exercise in yesterday for sure. You have earned an easy day today.

The exercise class could be fun, L.Ann. I used to enjoy them when I was in my twenties.

You have made amazing progress on the fence, Gma, especially considering the heat.

Helia, that's a very full day ahead!

KitKat, that's very interesting that you've had an excellent Romanian vet too! My impression (and I could be wrong!) is that's it's probably quite a polarised country, with highly intelligent young women being able to make the most of their abilities and opportunities , but some areas (rural?) being less developed.

L.Ann, I agree, if I do at least some of my exercises first thing, they do at least get done!

Gma,.you're making great progress with the fence!.I agree, the best time to kill those trees is now, when you have the time!


Dogged, your suggestion is a very wise and sensible one.. I've done the maths, and some of the people living there (2 parents and random man that appears from time) are roughly the right age to be a Ceaușescu orphan, but one of the parents ( not sure which one, although I think it *may* be the Dad ) has his parents staying. There's also a little girl and 2 teenage boys all crammed into a 3.bedroom house. Oh, and various other hangers on that appear from time to time. And they are not exactly what one would call"quiet" either!

Housework and garden are done. I just have to give Cookie (DNeighbours S amd T's.cat) her supper and feed our gang.

Germane had her walk as the sun was going down to avoid hot sidewalks, and has had her various goodies. I think I'll look at finances next.
