It's been a whirlwind of a day, with banking (I have no authority, but am local and gather infomration for her brother, 2,000 miles away) and funeral arrangements. At least that paperwork had been done properly so I had no trouble working with the funeral home. I'm not even going to list everything I have done today. Last item was to go to post office and fill out form to forward mail to her brother.

Helia, stress increases cortisol. Cortisol increases appetite and mildly alters metabolism. Thus stress leads to weight gain.
L.ann, Immunoglobulin (IG) can be administered to prevent/ substantially reduce severity of measles. It is given prophylactically within 5-6 days of exposure. It is not used without exposure: It's duration is not long enough to be a broad spectrum immune support.

MrVKM came, took me out to dinner. I told him I really had earned a 1919 Root Beer ( a high sugar, craft root beer brewed in a city 30 miles form here, named 1919 because of the prohibition era) so we each had that with our supper.
I had to make one more trip to dfBS house, and now I need to pack to be gone Fri and Sat nights, to ENJOY attending a quilt auction and the multiple activities surrounding it.
But first a funeral in the morning. The 93 year old mother of one of my BFF's.
Is 11pm a good time to start packing? It's been over a year since I have been to my cabin, so I don't remember what's there....
I used to have it stocked so I could just go up there and not have to pack much.
I have clean summer things in the dryer, so maybe packing will be efficient?
