It's 10pm here. I had a really nice conversation with dfAGB, who was also a df of dfBS. In fact, she sat vigil with me as dfBS was dying. We had lots to talk about, and had to change the topic when it came to world (national) events, as those made both of us depressed.
The sad news for me today is that ds younger dog was diagnosed with advanced abdominal cancer, substantial spread to the lymph nodes as well. She is drinking, but eating very little. DS said today she is interested in a little cottage cheese. They have pain pills for her. This was such a sudden onset of pain, with no warning that anything was wrong prior.
Friday afternoon she jumped (flew) over the gate to greet me when I came with some food that the students had left, things I wasn't going to eat, and ds would. Friday evening she was at emergency vet, at home regular vet on Monday, and back to veterinary hospital today where she received diagnosis. Does she have 2 weeks? 2 months? only time will tell. She has pain pills that for now seem to be working, but nothing helps her appetite, as tumor is genreally obstructing and interfereing with digestion. TADAs done today
remember to take osteoporosis medicine - that I was supposed to take last Saturday. done brother is taking turmeric capsules. checked on dosage - Yale reports World Health Organization recommends 200 mg limit for 150 pound person, 270 mg for 200 pound person. Higher doses can cause liver damage. empty dehumidifiers at my house, and mother's Humidity is 80% outside today. was 90% when I went to bed. got my walk in, walked to mother's house instead of driving. get garbage out. done at mother's last night, need to do mine today is DDIL birthday. Need to get her a card and go to bank for $ for a gift.restart exercise class? hymn selection committee meeting at church is at the same time took precedence.
get a few more things from mother's house back to mine - I borught several things there when I stayed with my guests last week.WIP
