Mending continued this evening. I fixed a seam in a pillowcase, changed the thread in the machine to dark and hemmed one pair of pants. The dark thread will take me through the next smallish project, I think.

HRH did make a supper that was very nice, just spicy. I had a little with him, but enjoyed a tomato sandwich with spinach.

Have the kitchen straightened up and ready to start the dishwasher.

Mugginess - Nancy, we are just sloshing here, with rains coming in to add to it. Hot and muggy.

blessed, it is helpful to make cards with segments of the work on them, isn't it? Not everything at once. But sometimes we marathon it and make a lot of progress - you sound like you've had a successful day.

I did "visit my colorist" this morning, so that was a good thing (although my resistant gray is getting more resistant as time goes on. I'll have to give this up at some point.)
After that, I guess I wasted a lot of time -- talked to dmom on phone, went to the post office, got some food -- late lunch/early supper? -- because I thought I needed to eat before the church meeting tonight... took a short nap, went to the meeting, came home and played on my phone and scrolled FB till 10:00 pm. THEN I did indoor walking and NOW, when I should be getting ready for bed, I am here getting ready to write a letter to the bank, to remove old pastor and add new pastor to the church safety deposit box.
I told ds... I am the LEAST likely person who needs to sit in on a finance committee meeting. All the banking terms and accounting terms they use just go right over my head. I feel very useless.
DS is a member of the committee, but he went to a ballgame tonight (junior high) to keep stats. We had some pretty heavy rain and thunderstorms by halftime, and the game was called off. It was a jamboree game anyway, not something that would count for or against the season record.

Anyway, I better write that letter. Tomorrow --
11:30 -- teacher group
Afterwards -- bank
4:00 -- pick up dgs at football
6:30 -- small group meeting for pastor
