Before dark fell, I rushed a bit and got some outdoor chores done. Plus, more back-porch touch-ups I'd noticed while sweeping earlier.

That's the way with planned chores. You find a little something more, and something more... .. There's a feeling of "while I have it this clean, I should... ..", or "while I have it this decluttered, I should... .."

Which explains why I also went back to the little bathroom and fretted some more there. I may carry master over to tomorrow.

Dd27 called and I'm pretty sure she won't be coming this weekend.

Reading chat - I've ordered Pippi Longstocking (3 in 1) for dgdC. There's a newly illustrated one coming out on the 22nd but I'd like her to have the Michael Chesworth illustrations. DgsW is convinced that no, Grandma, she does not already have one. I guess we'll see how observant he is.

I am dog tired. A long busy day to finally arrive home and then receive phone call that DH has UTI and we need to go back to the city to get prescription for it. Before we could leave home, a friend dropped by for a visit and stayed 2 hours! Ugh. I told him that we were about to head out the door to get the medicine and it is as if it went over his head and he just kept talking. While he was talking, I started texting DS18 to see if he could go get prescription after he gets off work. That happened but he hasn't made it back here yet, so DH still hasn't started the antibiotics.

Although tiring, I'm feeling good about all that was accomplished today.

Twins', you can see my post tonight in Fun and Games and probably figure out what was confusing. One way or another, we'll get it straightened out. Sorry to bug you with it.

Oh, LadyM! That is so inconsiderate of the fellow - maybe you should have said, "walk with me, talk with me" all the way out to your vehicle and just wave goodbye! I hope ds has gotten home with the medicine and that dh feels much better soon. It's been my experience that the day after taking the meds for that can be a sleepy, tired day.
