Re: Sitar Sunday
I see that our EuroSHEs are winding down for the night.
Germane is certainly motivating me to keep the floor clean, LOL. I had this discussion with her vet. He suggested diapers, but as I told him I would much rather wash the floor than to be washing her furry little backside over and over all day. I blame myself for this morning's cleaning job. I have been telling myself that I should give her pen a good wash and once it's dry to paper it from end to end with pee pads and yes, I should have done that.

Re: Sitar Sunday
Dogged, you're a very good Mum to Germane, I can understand not wanting to have to wash her frequently, especially as she may not relish that kind of attention, and would probably let her displeasure be known?
( Speaking as Mum to Freddie, who also has firm ideas as to what is and what is not acceptable!

Re: Sitar Sunday
You know us well, Kittykatt!
Have a good sleep.
Last load of laundry before vacation! The one thing left is Germane's laundry. I have a stack of fleece throws that smell doggy. It wasn't quite one load, so I grabbed one of hangings from her pen to fill the washer. It's the long weekend, so the competition for the machines is more spread out.
Sunday
Sprang out of bed and tried to drop paper towels where Germane was peeing before it could flow under the pen and to my desk. Germane responded by walking in circles through the pee, which made it hard for me to see where the pee was.
Finally grabbed Germane and dabbed her on her pee pads over and over to blot her paws
Heart pill and peanut butter for Germane
15:
Cleaned up after Germane
Washed floor of Germane’s pen
Washed floor in front of apartment
Put on a pot of coffee
15:
Checked laundry and put away dry
Put rice on to cook for Germane and self
Made breakfast sandwich
Put away dry cutlery
Put down some dog food for Germane
15:
Tidied table
Emptied desk wastepaper basket
Finished putting away dry dishes
Emptied one bag and put all away
Watered indoor plants and outdoor flower pot
Misted the fern
Swapped out kitchen cloths
Gathered clothes
Cleaned toilet
Listened to library DVDs
Showered/washed hair
Walked Germane
Brought up mail
Checked laundry room
Gathered Germane’s laundry and started a load
Flipped laundry
Brought boxes down to basement
Brought a box of pee pads and a drawer for the trip back up
Cheese and pills for Germane
Mixed up dog food, rice and probiotic for Germane

Re: Sitar Sunday
I had thawed out pork from the freezer, and am now filling the two small slow cookers. One for Germane, and one for me.
