I got the dog in and went on to the grocery store myself. I think I'll wait until later in the week to make the brownies, tho. But I did need milk anyway.
I sprayed the bottom of the warming oven with 409 and I'm letting it sit. I don't think it will clean entirely.
I think I'll go upstairs and work on clean up of my office room. Or should I stay downstairs and wipe out and purge the refrigerator? No, going to load up some summer things in the summer bin and get out some fall things from the garage. I should sweep out there too.

I have one more job to do in the laundry room: clean the sink
flip flopped laundry
helper helped mom hang up laundry
(I sent d helper home at 4:00 pm - she is driving home to pick up her son (1 hour) and then go to her daughters for dinner. (1-1/2 hours there and the same home). she will be exhausted.
I know fall isn't for another 15 days but I needed a little fall color. i brought up the fall lighted tree and put it up in the family room.
dh and I got into a little tiff yesterday and we still haven't spoken about it. I like to clear things up so we will have to take time today or tomorrow. neither one of us is mad any more but I think it's good to get his feelings out so it doesn't build.

I just told someone that I think I'm disoriented because it's Rosh Hashanah this week and it's barely September. Another time it was the day after Labor Day but the kids were in preschool then and we didn't have the big lunch.
I've gotten a lot done, kind of all over the place. Dh called and was heading home as I went upstairs to do some clean up there.

I had an * almost * labor free Labor Day. I did manage to wash a sink full of dishes and fold a load of towels and underwear. I also walked outdoors approx. 10 minutes and then did another 10 minutes 'walk away the pounds" indoors. I also divided a gallon of stew into 12 smaller portions in freezer bags and put those in the freezer.
DS, dgrands, and I went to the annual Labor Day picnic we always attend, and we enjoyed it, but we did not stay as long as we sometimes do.
Still, it was hot (as usual) and we only stayed a couple hours.
When I got home, I couldn't help but fall asleep in the recliner. I napped a while, watched some TV, and had a pretty quiet evening.
