That makes sense, L.Ann. As much as we like the squirrels and wish them well in their preparations, they'll empty out your feeder and plant it all over the neighbourhood.

The sink does drain eventually, helia, so either I can have a go at clearing the clog, or I can work around it. I seem to have managed to wash my hair without breaking the bathtub, so things are looking up. I am thinking of walking Germane next, if she cares to leave her comfortable bed.

I think that it's a good sign that the girls work together on the laundry. A good sign that they are getting along and settling in.

I am spiffy clean and took Germane out for a nice walk in the park to celebrate.

Dumped the water and watched the basin bob happily in the non-draining sink. I see that yesterday has followed me to today.
