Well, we are getting there...

Kinda glad to be back at school today. Everyone -- coworkers and even students -- seemed so concerned for all of our family, many expressions of sympathy and prayers for all of us.
Got my hair trimmed this afternoon.
We were at dbil's until around 9:00 pm, b/c people kept coming in and staying and talking.
Everything possible has been prepared at the church -- picture table, chair for dmil, etc.
Dusted den, dining room
Made correction on obituary and sent to local paper, hoping they will accept my correction over what they received from funeral home (which I had typed also)
Need to vacuum
Need to wash car
(Yes, it IS almost 11:30 pm)

Tomorrow will be a busy busy day. I imagine no one will have to rock me to sleep.

Waving to ALL

I had planned to stay home today and unpack more boxes. Then dd2 called and needed to go to the dr. for a sonogram. I went out there to watch the 2 little ones and before dd2 left, dgd2+ started complaining that her ear hurt. Dd2 had been gone about 45 minutes and dgd2+ just kept feeling worse. So I called dd2 and told her she needed to make her an appointment. They could actually get her in this afternoon. I know this is TMI but dd2 birth control device that was to last 10 years, didn't last 6 months and had to be removed. Anyway she came home to get dgd2+. Just as she came in, dgd11months woke up from a nap. She wasn't feeling well at all either. I held her for 1 1/2 hours as she slept or just laid in my arms. I was really concerned because since she started walking, she is on the go non-stop and doesn't like to be held for any length of time. When dd2 came in with dgd2+ she was crying and so tired. She ended up going to sleep. Dgd11mos. finally perked up a little. During all this dgd15 kept texting or calling her mom wanting to know when she was taking her to get her new phone. EArlier this week she found out she was eligible for an upgrade and I had went out yesterday to watch the little ones so she could take her. Even though both dgd15 and dd2 have phones on dsonil account, they couldn't do anything. They called him and he couldn't remember his password. So today he went and put both of them on the account so that they can get phones as needed. The boys come home tomorrow. I told dd2 that I will watch the 4 younger kids after school so that she can take dgd15 to get her phone and we can quit hearing about it. Anyway that will put me going out there 5 days this week plus 1 evening for the bd party. I had told her and myself that I wasn't going to do that when she moved and here I am. I am hoping that next week will be a little calmer out there. Oh, dgd2 ears were clear but her throat was red and so she will be on an anti-biotic.

I had went to bed but after laying there awake for 30 minutes I decided to get up for awhile.

Dgd11mos has a terrible cold and I am sure hoping that I don't get it. I have taken 2 doses of Airborne this evening.

Well I better try to sleep again.
