Oh my... Indiana called for bedtime TWO HOURS ago!
Okay... I'm going... just give me a minute.
We visited dmil, then went out to eat w/ds & ddil tonight. Then, when we got home, dniece came over for me to help her with some school stuff, and I kept her here talking probably longer than she meant to stay.
I could grade some papers... but I think no... I will listen to Indiana. I will get ready for bed and then read the newspaper in bed... and maybe I will sleep.
I got a LITTLE more sleep last night -- turned off the tv @ 12:30 when the Marty Stuart show went off, LOL. Hmmm... but it was almost 1:00 a.m. when I quit reading.
The night before, remember, I was still awake @ 2:00 a.m.!

Ouch, Harmony. Don'cha hate when that happens! Hope it heals quickly. Look up how to get blood out of quilts when you bleed on them, because it happens all the time.

Ouch, Emptynester, too. But glad you are keeping up with the exercising to help, and I hope the new med helps. I read that there are supplements now that have egg shell membrane that are supposed to be very good for knees/arthritis.

Don't worry, Lucylee, I'm still up too. I got a late start in the kitchen, had all the dishes to do and coolers to clean out and wipe, lunch to make for 3 tomorrow...and that took an hour. I guess I'll have to start earlier next time.

I'll need to stay home the next few days if I can. Our car overheated for the 2nd time today. Helper looked underneath and he thinks its one of our radiator hoses, there's a bulge, however we don't see anything leaking out...so maybe that's not the only problem. I googled what's been happening and found the usual radiator stuff plus more troubling things like head gasket, etc. eeeek! We don't need anything like that now.

OK, I'm off to bed now. Oh, I see Harriet is up too! My, we're night-owls. About the finger, the bandaid fell off in the dishwater and it's not bleeding anymore. I have dabbed some cold water on the quilt a couple times to get blood out and considered myself very very lucky.

It's only 8:27 here not time for my p.m. meds yet so you know I'm up for a while more.

Phew what a day after I posted this morning a Realtor called wanted to do a showing mid day
so you know what I was doing. Did granny duty at dd's dgd was ill w/ a fever so it worked out she got to nap in her own bed. H. did errands w/ out me. I cleaned over there and h. came back home just in case dgson came here on the bus and he did so they had a snack knew there was ice cream. Then went back to dd's finished up his home work for the week it's like a record I think! LOL! Ddson did his chores and then was free to play. The day had a strange kind of flow to it. After that we did the store run and had dinner. We came home unloaded the car put away food and un-staged around here.

trivia - the hills hoist (rotary clothesline) and Victa lawn mowers were Aussie invenctions.

ANZAC day here today. I went out. Missed the parade that was at a new time and route, but caught most of the service. Caught up with guide leaders afterwards. I was invited to be a mature person to help at guides. The leader is just 19. Not sure what to think about that.

Great thinking on repurposing the small trash container for what is needed on your chair.

I got rid of some of the wire panels for neighbours chick chickens. Also some wire for next time he is building something.

I had a nap today. Also have taken to eating fresh raw vege this time of day.
Dog is reminding me he is waiting for his walk.
