Ok, now is my time to be a bit productive.

I napped for almost 3 hours this afternoon. I figure it is the endless blood loss wearing me out. Made sure we had beef for dinner and will have to go back to an egg a day until this stops.

We watched a tv episode over dinner then I had 8 minutes to sweep the kitchen floor and tidy up all the dishes. I actually got it done in that time (but the kitchen table was still a mess.)

lol Harriet - the irony wasn't lost on me. mature indeed.I can snigger.
I admit to playing with the idea in my brain, but am not sure if its a good thing for me to do.
And if some one who knows the current program couldn't teach leadership to a 19yo better than me. Then theres the contingent of mean girls.
I did have 3 older girls get their queen's guide awards when I had older girls.
My mind is exploring.
But the task would be to teach the 19yo to do it.
And appeal to the mean girls to come with an adventuous, willing, respectful spirit and see if they want to widen their horizons. Or stay the same.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

H. had a job interview this afternoon.
They will interview the top five again in a week.

I have mowed the back again it was already tall enough to need it.
Dinner is done for me.
Having some coffee now h. has it pretty cool in here this afternoon. It was muggy today but not as bad as long as you were not in the sun. 8-) Cooling off a bit and some rain with more thunder and lightening after eleven tonight.

Just ci:
Pretty good day at school, but VERY busy... and I stayed until 5:30... and still brought stuff home w/me.
In 22 days, I guess it'll be done. Or not. ;)

Elizabeth -- why do you feel hopeless after 504 meetings? Are the teachers/administrators uncooperative, or does dd's plan leave you frustrated? I have had quite a few 504 meetings with parents before, and I think everything goes fairly smoothly at our school. I wish there was something I could do to help out. I'm sure Cowinkie might have some helpful insight, too, if you want to talk this out.

Routines.
Oh well. Yeah. I have high hopes, but like Harmony said, once I get past the work day stuff... then the weekly, focus, zone, etc. just falls apart.
Or issues like Harriet's eldercare take precedence. We are still spending about as much time w/dmil as we did before dfil passed away. DH checks on her every afternoon and often as not, wants me to go with him. Sometimes we/I go get her something to eat for supper. DH worries that she doesn't eat well when left to her own devices. Today I had to get her mail for her (in town) and take to her. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining about these things -- that's just an example of where at least some of my time goes.
Tomorrow is another day.

Routines filled my evening since I got my weekly kitchen chores done and cleaned the bathrooms. Also ran a load of laundry. Now I'm off to bed but not sure if I'll sleep since I had that long rest in the afternoon.

Here we are again, 4 of us still up!

I've done kitchen routines for the night. It's hard to pack lunches. I don't know how many will be at the job in the morning and I'm NOT doing this first thing in the morning. I'm way too bleary-eyed for that.

Anyway, I'm hoping DH will have a helper with him. We're having real employee problems. It's hard when we're not consistent with work. Everybody scatters and gets busy with their own things and it's hard to get them back. We may have to find a whole new crew. Oh, I don't want to have to do that. We go through a lot of people trying to find one good responsible talented person. sigh.....

I'm watching D uck D ynesty. Very funny. I have an inlaw that fits that show. I really do.

Ok, off to bed. Y'all need to turn in with me!
