(((Kathryn)))
I just woke up myself. DH went to track to watch dgs7. Asked me but I just didn't feel like getting out. I'm still somewhat woozy and just not feeling up to snuff. Maybe I got more co2 than I thought.

Dawned on me I never turned on the ceiling fan over me in the living room. My brain is definitely slow today.
Friends brought us a container of small sandwiches from church and a plate of cookies (those will be for dh). There's a Christian art show there and our congregation had first look today and a luncheon. They didn't even know I was sick, just not at church. (These friends are around the corner here at the campground and joined our church last Sunday.)
Big controversy here at the campground and of course everyone is coming to dh with it. He's so trying to stay out of it. One of the (evidently well-liked) permanent campers has been asked to leave because of drunkeness and several complaints. He's really a nice guy but evidently things have happened, when he's (or his wife) not sober, that most people do not know about. He's been going to everyone and telling his side and the letter he received from dcampowner (who's been out for several weeks now with torn rotator cuff surgery). Just hoping dh can remain neutral. It's the biggest commotion I can remember here.

I'm back from church it was good today they had a drummer! Yea! Glad to not see those drums w/out a player. Guest speaker was good.
I need to get working on some things that need to be done around here as it's so smokey here I do not want to be outside today.
Lunch is done.

Dh has already left to go to the meeting - he is one of the organizers and speakers. I'll wait to leave until 5:45 or 6 p.m. to leave, but need to s2s between now and then. I've been trying off and on this afternoon to write for temple bulletin, but failing miserably. Dh has been in and out, distracting me, but it's not his fault - I just don't feel inspired. I think I've finally changed directions and should be able to get something onto paper now, tho.

Just went over and chatted with dneighbor/friend for a few. Beginning to feelIf a little more clear headed. Had no idea! But know I will not drive today. I should be rested up by tomorrow at any rate.
If I was really smart I'd probably turn on the AC -it's pretty warm in here right now. But, it will be cooling off before too long. (I think). Guess I'll go sit under the fan part of the living room.

I'm awake again. I guess I slept 2.5 hours. Need to get out of bed (brought my laptop to bed with me before the phone call.)
Dh has a snack ready for me and then we'll go out for an early supper since I haven't had lunch.

Hi, Dee! You lured me out!

My dmother has had several health problems & I've been running & doing for her. I cuop & then don't have time or energy to post. The latest is that she broke her hip a week ago. She's doing great but it will take time. Then we have the "near colon cancer" to deal with. I feel like I'm on automatic pilot.
I can't believe we have lost dIndiana! She will be greatly missed.
Got to run. Waving to everyone. Reading about your lives helps me know there is still a "real world' out there other than hospitals and medical decisions.

If you peek back in, Kally, thank you for catching us up on your life. Hope things slow down a little for you.

Waving hello
I've been MIA because I've had the stomach flu along with an accompaning wicked headache since thur. Was hoping to be better by today but stomach is still doing flip flops. Must be some kind of virus cause I also have my very first fever blister. Can't read much cause it makes me feel worse. That's a BIG bummer for me. Have eaten 4 stacks of sal tines, 4 slices on bread, and a bowl of oatmeal since thur. I'm tired of drinking diet coke, but even water makes me gag. At least I don't have to worry about finding a sub for work

Makes you wonder, doesn't it, Cowinkie. Would you have gotten sick if you weren't retired?

Glad you're at least doing a little better. It's funny cause I just heard this weekend that mineral water and dark soft drinks are not good for anyone with kidney problems -or 1 kidney. First I'd ever heard that. Not that I drink either usually.
I'm perking up as the day goes by. Find this whole thing pretty unbelievable! Thank goodness our bedroom door was open or I'd probably not be writing today, but in the hospital. No, no, no.
Looked like rain for a while today but got none. DH said it did rain a little where he was -south of here.
I need to get outside and breathe some fresh air I think. It's gotten quite warm in here, but getting near nightfall.
