Love hearing what little ones say, Okay. Cute!
It's good to know to schedule a bit of down time after that in the future.
Perfect, Nancy -that's what I need to do, just schedule a 'bit of down time' into my schedule for flu shot. Now to look at the calendar and see when the best time is for that. Know I want to do it earlier in the week -so I have a few days to 'schedule that down time in' should I need it. It would be a first if I don't. :? Hmmm...I may just stop into w al greens and get it the first part of the week -because I don't want to go the Dr. until later in the week. If I already have had it, it'll just go to her via computer anyway.

Hmmm....hoping Kathryn's ok today. Noticed she hasn't posted yet (though she was here earlier in the day.

Best to Okay today.

BTW I did ask DDIL#1 if she'd ever happened on circumstance from last month in family court here. Never. She was quite  and asked if it was here in this county. Gave her a few particulars.

I just remembered looking for those webcams in FL last winter (when my built in one stopped working). No wonder I didn't find them there -they were here in the storage area. I try to write down what's here and what' s there as much as I can or if it dawns on me to do it. ;)

No, Mystery, no one here missed anything. Just my family. LOL! My birthday is June 27, but we had such a hectic summer that we never got around to celebrating it - until now!

Last round done, minus teeth care. I don't know why I tend to procrastinate on that! Also. .
-uploaded photos from my photo memory card
-had brunch with the family
-emails sent re: small group and book club get together. . .

Next:
-teeth care
-study time!
-switch laundry when it is ready
-figure out when/where to jog; I may just jog in the neighborhood; it saves me about 30 minutes travel time to and from the park

So why yesterday, helia? 100 days later?

s2s, bed made, bathroom tidied. I have not looked to see just where I am with my cards. Hmm... 3 done and one (school-morning routine) skipped.

Next up:
• lights/blinds -- tell girls to get dressed (verrry lazy Saturday around here!)
• clean up breakfast
• start wash
• excavate dining table

It is Slug Saturday for me.

Honest truth. Normally I'd discourage such negativity but maybe I can turn it into Swoosh! Saturday along with Mystery.

Still in my pjs. I did eat breakfast. (It's 1:15 here for those that might think they are time-zone challenged.)
  • I have made the bed.
  • I have cut a roll of paper towels in half and made two containers of homemade cleaning wipes.
  • I've read virtually every post in the Prius V forums.
  • I put a load of laundry in the washer
  • I have invited ds for dinner tomorrow night.
On my to-do list:
  • s2s
  • hang up laundry to dry
  • fold load of laundry in the dryer.
  • vacuum and dust main floor (guests tomorrow.)
  • set dining table
  • practice anthem for tomorrow
  • nap (doing nothing is exhausting)
  • make up meal plan and grocery list for tomorrow
  • out to the store for mini quiches (good sale and they are on my HGP list.) and other groceries.

Not sure what kind of a Saturday I'll be having.... So far it has been Sleepy Saturday. It felt good to be lazy, so I indulged! :D Our temp was near freezing last night & tonight we are supposed to get a hard freeze. The high will only be around 50F today. I guess fall is really here.

I got my flu shot last week & my arm is a little bit sore, but no flu-like symptoms. This is the first time I've ever had any kind of reaction.

The laundry is calling me, so I'll have to kick myself into gear soon. Why do I procrastinate so???

OKay, loved your story about LO. Prayers for his/your meeting with his bio parents. (((hugs)))

Lynlee, I enjoy reading about your completed day, just as I'm beginning mine.

DeeClutter, I hear you on the "Daily Routine", why is that so hard to maintain? What a good idea to enter your recipes in the computer. A friend of mine has some kind of a program to do that. I should ask her what it is.

Harriett, here's hoping today is better. (((Harriett & family)))

Helia, I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday celebration. :)

Hi, Bernice, nice to "see" you. Homemade soup sounds sooo good! yum!

Harmony, I'm glad you are getting some answers to your health problems. Here's hoping you feel better very soon.

Waving to Twins', SuzLew, Emptynester, Dove, Nancy, Mystery Woman, & all who follow!

Kathryn, if I am honest, "Slug Saturday" probably accurately describes mine too! Maybe we can both turn that around...

My Saturday will be called Satisfied Sunshine Saturday because I have a lot to do or that I should be doing, so I want to be satisfied with what I do today and it's sunny outdoors.

OKay, Hope your Special Saturday IS special and you continue to feel better, too. :)

Lynlee, Sunny here, too, and you did so much! :) Did you get an early start?

Dee, Wow! WE need rain here on the West Coast! Could you send us some? There are fires here, too. Sorry to hear about your DH's shoulder. I had rotator cuff surgery and 11 months of PT in 2010, for shoulder "stuff" and I don't think people realize how dependent we are on our shoulders because every time we use our hands, arms, etc... the shoulder's involved, too. Good luck to him! :) Also, I hope you find everything.

helia, I'm glad your b-day celebration went well. :)

Twins' Mom, As I was filling up the tea kettle with water at the sink, I looked out over the field and yard to see a lot of bugs flying around here, too! :!:

Bernice, Your soups sound delicious and hearty! It's nice to "meet" you.

Harmony, Good luck on today's PODA. Paperwork Queen is a great description! :)

Suzlew, My grandmother had Parkinson's and I hope acupuncture helps you. :)

MT, Your sunrise description was picturesque and beautiful sounding. :)

Dove, Oh, the attic might be full of some fun Saturday surprises. :)

Nancy, Have you gotten any eggs yet? :?:

MysteryWoman, I hope your day goes from Sleepy to Swoosh! Fun title! :)

Kally, Sorry your arm's a bit sore from the flu shot. Mine did that, too. Your Saturday title was cute, too. :)

My PODA is-
To do laundry
To read
To crochet on Christmas items
To stretch, move around and walk

My Ta Da today so far:
- I read my devotion, prayed, and wrote in my journal
- I ate, took meds and supplements
- I fixed DH and my cups of coffee
- I read the obits, calendar reminders and answered 1 email.

I haven't been working on the Christmas crochet as I should, so by bedtime, I hope to be Satisfied when I look back on my day and see what I've accomplished. I'm heading to the shower now and will start my day. I'm really stiff this morning, so a hot shower will help with that.

Everyone have a nice morning or afternoon, depending on where you are. :D

Sorry to hear about your DH's shoulder.
Oh no, Ivy, it's dh's boss (dcampowner) where we live for 6 months of the year. You are so right about 'shoulders'. I had a complete shoulder replacement many years ago now, but still have very limited use of my left arm -virtually only from my elbow down. Can't move my arm much at all. (mainly because there was barely any muscle left). I had torn it apart on a treadmill unfortunately. Still can't get on one. But, I'm thankful for the use I do have of it. At least I can type. But most everything else is done right-handed. A little inconvenient at drive thru's, etc. We actually bought a car after I did this so I could have electronic windows. ;)

DH would like to do 'something' on our way to FL. Not sure if we're going down 81 to 95 or 77 to 95. I've looked at a couple of things but just can't decide what to do. Had looked at going to Branson, MO again but it's SO far. It's as far there and then again to dd's in FL as it is to go to DD's from here. Not sure we want to put that many miles on our car until we get a new one. Decisions, decisions. Have to figure out something soon. Only have about 3 weeks to do it. It doesn't help that I have about a 3-day window of when we're leaving. So it's hard to figure and make reservations for shows or anything.

I change my Saturday to SWamped Saturday. My paperwork crown is still on. Still. I got a big stack of things done, an account reconciled, many bills paid & in the mail. I cleaned out the email box and responded to a couple which meant I had to look around and get some papers. Worked on the medical file. Still going. sigh...will I get done...ever?
