Ivy: that's wonderful news!!!!!

I'm so glad you can be relieved of the worry now.

I'm off for my nap since I didn't get another spurt of energy after lunch. Dh ran to the store for me and picked up the salad while I had my lunch. Now he has headed off to the movie so I'll settle in for a nap for a bit.

I received the confirmation that my pap test came back normal. I expect that news, but am always happy to see it confirmed in writing.

It will be interesting to see if the surgery place bills us for today. I don't know if they have a "must cancel before XX of hours" clause.

I've been tweaking spreadsheet. When I sit quietly then LO does too. When I get up and move around, then LO follows me. Sooo.....today is a good day to sit and do quiet tasks.

I had dh take the vacuum upstairs for me before he left so decided to get the upstairs weeklies done before my nap. Apparently, they take about 40 minutes because I'm done now and I last posted 40 minutes ago!

Now I'll go down for my nap. And know that when I get up there is no heavy housework to do, just some dailies.

Home from closing and I was fine, as long as I think about other things and don't talk or think about it. Very nice couple with 4 kids age 10 down to 2 and I know they'll love living there. (Here I go again with the tears...)

I just checked in with dh and made us a dinner reservation at a nice restaurant for tonight - I think a night out is appropriate after receiving a big check at closing.

Unfortunately, I can't do just as I want this afternoon as I need to go back out to the cleaners...with dh leaving early in the morning, he needs shirts that are there....will relax for a bit before heading back out.

OKay, so sorry LO is ill today....

Ivy, I am so relieved that you received good news today and didn't have to wait until next week to hear it.

Twins', It's great that your DH got dinner reservations for you two!

OKay, Is LO feeling a bit better now? I hope so. That's great about the pap test, too! I admire people who do spreadsheets. I have tried to make one, in Excel, and I get so gosh darn nervous, I break out into a sweat, my tummy is Topsy turvy and I am so nervous that I have to close the page!

Kathryn, I hope you get a good nap. Heavy housework is exhausting!

Thanks for the cheers about my biopsy just being trauma. YOU here at the Village found out before DH did! I called his cell next. Thanks for being supportive and keeping me in your prayers and those of you at J & C's thread, too.

When I called DH, he said, "I couldn't find that book at Costco you wrote on the list." I said, "But Safeway has books in their book section." (He was at Safeway by then.) He said, "Well, I'll look." He came home with a Debbie Macomber book about Christmas, which was her last in the Cedar Cove series. He did good! He picked out a Debbie Macomber book I didn't have yet, so now I have 4. I need to read. Also, letters came, which I need to read and will be writing letters to tell my lovely pals how I'm benign, too.

I got it up to 67* in my small office now. I'm drinking International Coffee, I'm sweating, so I'm not cold anymore! It's supposed to be in the 40's as a high outdoors today. DH just told me it's 46*. I'm so glad we have such a good corner fireplace insert.

Yes, very good news, Ivy. I made the dinner reservation, however.

-empty the dishwasher
-clear kitchen counters
-straighten great room
-start a lol
-go upstairs and turn off ceiling fan and light in dd's room, from when she was here Wednesday a.m.

Done with all that round. I should have mentioned that I made a series of phone calls getting water, gas, electricity changed, getting info to have the alarm turned off (must send a written letter!), stop the pest control and yard guy. So I have been productive.

This must be our lucky day - I just fielded a phone call that we won a raffle today within the Jewish community $250! (Wondering if we should donate it back to the organization? Will ask dh what he thinks.)

I am planning to leave her in an hour and will stop at cleaners on the way to dinner, so can work another round.

-Make the bed
-straighten master bath
-find 27 pieces of paper to put in recycling..
-take pictures that are to go in our stairwell up to the landing
-kitchen table clearing

I am at a Eeeek it's Friday instead of finally friday.
