LO is feeling much better. This afternoon he started talking & going non-stop again. Ahhhhhh.....life is returning to normal. :) He is currently collecting all his money (change) because he wants to buy a "noisy 4 wheeler". Hummm......I appreciate his enthusiasm, however he has less than $5 so he will have to keep that dream on the back burner for awhile. :D

I did a whirl-wind trip to town and got baby gift and few groceries. I delivered the baby gift and hopefully didn't offend anyone by not staying.

Three of the dishes for tomorrow are done. I'll do the final 2 in the morning (baked beans & mashed potatoes).

Ithaca, NY? Ooh, one of our favorite little cities!! Dh and I lived not far in Binghamton for about a year, first jobs out of grad school for both of us. We would often go to Ithaca over the weekends. It was a lot more interesting than Binghamton. Cornell campus is beautiful.

My tummy is feeling off. :? I wonder if I ate something funny?

I am trying to work on SS prep, except I am SO distracted. Dh and dd14 went to a musical at the hs. Dd17 is watching a movie.

Off to try to concentrate more. The lesson is already outlined in detail; I just need to rehearse what to say when and how. . .

It's 36.9* now, DH is fixing shrimp, veggie, Asian noodle stir fry for dinner tonight, and I had a 1 1/2 hour nap. :D Then I got up to finish a story that was 23 pages long and sent that in. :) Now onto another one. I'll work on it tomorrow, but this evening I think I'll save for reading, crochet, and writing letters.

Helia, Sorry your tummy's feeling "off". :? Hope you get better soon.

Goodnight, Blessed! :)

Kathryn, Enjoy your dinner! :D

OKay, I'm so glad LO is feeling better now! :D Being sick is no fun. :(

Scattered, Sorry you got a headache at work. :( It makes doing your job harder.

Waving to Dove, Harmony, Dee, and Everybody! :D Have a GR8 night! :D And a wonderful Sunday, too! :!:

Back at the hotel and on my computer, rather than my phone so able to post more.

Pizza was only so-so. Good crust, though. Dh had fried chicken and onion rings. He argues that his V8 drinks count as enough veggies for the day.

I did get my 5 in, thanks to my lunch. As there were no vegetable sides, I chose pizza instead. Onion rings are not a vegetable serving in my book!

I worked hard this morning and got some zone work done, sheets washed and on the line (then finished up in the dryer) and some paper work done. Dropped a load of stuff at the church on our way out. Dh did up the dishes and the garbage so that helped get us out the door by 2.

Love the heated seats in the car - my back and legs were really sore and the heat felt wonderful on them as we drove to the border.

As soon as we crossed the border, I set up the reclining seat in the back of the car and settled in for a nap. I didn't nap but I did rest for 3 hours. The reclining seat is really luxurious, especially with the moon roof open so there is lots of glass to see out - the front window (no front seat in the way since it makes up where my legs go in the recline position), my window and the glass roof of the car. The only down side was my legs were getting tired of being up but there's no way of changing the set up while the car is moving. Normally I would be able to scoot over to the seat behind the driver but I had too much stuff in the back seat to do that tonight.

We got to the hotel by 6:30 and were going to eat at the pub downstairs but it had a 30 minute wait so we walked over to The Commons looking for a place to eat there. There was a directory guide to the area (it is a group of pedestrian-only streets) and we picked three places. Not one is still in business. Finally settled on Sammie's Pizza mainly because it wasn't a chain. I probably would have preferred a chain but the students seem to think its a good place to go. The grease to dollar ratio is nice and high - maybe that's it.

We walked back to the hotel and then out again for milk so I could have tea and dh could have a drink before bed.

Dh does not have his computer with him this trip - he's working with just his Galaxy Note and a portable keyboard because he won't be able to take his laptop to Machu Pichu so he needs to figure out if this will work. So far, so good - he's only used my computer once.

My cough is really bad at time and my body is sore from that, plus I have a headache (either from coughing or from a very late dinner.)

I'm off to bed soon. Didn't get one stick of paperwork done on the way done. Working on the laptop in the car makes me carsick now. That's new since the hepatitis. I noticed it reading on the plane as well last month.

It was busy over town like before Christmas. I did get a new bigger coffee pot and we've run a test pot of just water through it. Got a pumpkin on the side of the road and prepped it to freeze for the chickens. I got a Christmas banner and hung it in the living room I really like it with the star and holy land scene with the camel in it.

Got the food put away and will be having coffee in a few min. now that we have creamer that will be a hit!

I got some knitting yarn at the thrift shop, some Bible match playing cards for when the grand kids are over they are at the playing card stage.
I will be hanging more pictures have dusted them off, and the clocks, got the batteries replaced in them and it's great to see that they are working again now!

It is good to read every one's news and activities.

It was cold out today they needed help with the leaves at the church today but we were just not up to doing that out in the cold weather.
I was near a melt down before lunch.
H. got a $5.oo dvd and we watched it a western.

Had a good day and I'm feeling like 75% better but still trying not to over do.

Ugh, for some reason I'm only sleeping 2 hours at a time the last couple of days.

DS13 and I got a lot done before bed. We also made great strides in getting a Laptop for DS19 for Christmas. DS19 called Mother who amazsingly suggested that we call my DDad who works for W al-mart and can get it with his discount. DS13 tracked his DGpa and had a pleasant conversasion. DDad will get it and have it delivered to my local W al-Mart. I have since gotten a FB message from DDad asking what our budget is and saying that he will get it together in a couple of days. 8-) Mother is even kicking in $150 :o

I had posted about this earlier but it was eaten and I was too tired to re-type it.
