I got a little sad that dd older didn't come home as we were going to get the tree. But picking up those old boots of mine and getting on with it.

I think this morning I am going to surprise dd younger by decorating the family room for Christmas before she wakes up.

today is bills, menu planning, dailies, week planning day

Believing I and all of us can do the work!

Blessed I love reading your progress especially how you are decorating to surprise your girls!

I was surprised to see my bs was great today #124 yea for that!
Having coffee after getting it ready last night h. turned it on before I got up I love it when a plan comes together.
 I spiffed the kit. and started on the dining room while the AMC awards were on during commercials and when less than fav. singers were performing. This was a treat for me as the kitchen was in dire need of some attn.!
I'm going to work on the rest of the dining room today. That's my plan any way.

Ooooh, surprises, blessed - what a fun Mom.

Good job planning letters, Nancy. I only tried a short personal letter to one faraway cousin with these Christmas cards.

Using index cards in so many ways around my house right now - 3x5 chore cards show me where I'm falling behind, lol! Would hate to miss that knowledge. :o

The Healthy Habits 5x7 gridded cards go on the fridge front to keep track of me, lol! It's almost fun to try to check off as many squares as I can. Ya'll have got to try gridded cards if you haven't already - it's like part of the thinking on a multi-step multi-day project is already done for you. With one check mark you can record that you met a certain small goal and just keep on movin'! One 4x6 has space for plenty of info at top and left and still room to record about 225 mini-chores.

Trying out 4x6 blank cards as folded gift tags is my creativity right now.

Where would I be without my address 3x5 cardfile? Great for Christmas card efficiency, and I can just write corrections or additions that I learn this time of year right on there, no new space needed, very hard to actually run out of space.

for tags I xeroxed old pictures of the person this year on placed it on a blank card. kind of fun.

Hi d nancy and d harriet!!!

dd was tickled. She dislikes sleeping on cold sheets so I took an extra blanket (soft one so she could go between the blankets and no cold sheet (which is still there) - she said she felt spoiled.

I need my cards and there is no doubt about it!!!!

What a great idea, old photos blessed! That would tickle a group of family. I would love to do that for my late dh's nieces and nephews as I would know exactly the childhood/teen photos that would delight my generation and dfirstmil, but alas, I am not allowed to give to anyone but children at that party! Children don't have very historic photos to fall back on, LOL!

Sounds like your dd would be a candidate for flannel sheets!

a big calendar store (it took over the Borders space) was on my way through a mall today, wow what a selection of planners, calendars, blotters, etc there are! There were just too many choices and now I know less about what I need than I did before!  Thankfully, the expense :| kept me from buying anything and I will take my time and look online instead for bargains, where I can see views of the insides, too.
