I'm not making much progress on my 3 things yet. Been on the phone almost non-stop since my last post.

Waiting on call back from doc office re: LO sore throat.

At work today, tax partner I need to work with is out sick today. Also calls from temple secretary who is also sick, in fact, she needs to see a doc and I'm trying to convince her of that.

Talked to GA attorney this a.m. about dsis, he emailed me forms but he doesn't have the time to work fast on this - suggested another guy whom he works with. Have left message w social worker at hospital as well. Sigh.

Meeting this evening at 5:30 too.

UGH!!! I applied for a part-time RN job at the local Federal Reserve Bank and that was torture... they must use that as a weeding out process, as in if you actually get through all the steps who are higher on the list. It would work great as it is a Mon-Fri 8am - 1pm position.

I have confirmed my interview for Thursday at 10 am. :D

BFF called and agreed that after all that I could just answer emails and don't have to actually seek positions to apply for today, will make it a priority to apply for at least 2 positions tomorrow. ;)

Need to clear of the table and get cracking on Christmas projects.

ToDo/TaDa's
:D d2s
:D coffee
:D DS13 to dentist then school
Clear off DR table
Find fleece
find patterns
cut out fabric
sew
:D send out resumes
:( make phone calls
:D swing by college
Dinner

Ergh!!! only have half of the fleece material I thought I had!!! Now DS20 and I have to run to W al-mart to find more fleece. I ended up telling him what I was planning on making, so he now gets to help pick out either the material for his or for his brother! On a good note I found a bunch of Christmas aprons that I had already cut out and never sewed together so that will be a big help. :D

Went to Tar-jay. I ran into a friend from church there and chatted with her a while. She told me about her ds10 who has been in the hospital twice this fall for a burst appendix; they removed it last week -- but accidentally nipped the colon in the process. My dfriend B -- the one who is an OR nurse -- was actually in the OR with him when they operated. The surgeon was upset at herself for knicking it but it sounded like there was so much scar tissue that it was hard to see. Dfriend B had confirmed this to dfriend. Anyhow, they cleaned him out and gave him antibiotics and we are now praying another infection does not occur. B/c of my conversation with her, I was gone longer than expected and did not get to the gym. I'll assume it was meant to be; the gym is open until 10 pm. I also have an exercise tape to try out.

I've got dd14's snack/dinner almost ready to go. I'm leaving in 10 minutes for my next round of running around - pick up dd14 at school, take her to dermatology appt. If there's time, we'll stop by home before her oboe lesson. Otherwise, we'll go straight to the oboe lesson and then I'll drop her off at the high school around 6 pm for band rehearsal 6:30 - 8:30. Then, I'll go home and throw a dinner of leftover pasta dishes together asap. Then, I'll be out and about for the 4th time today - party/sale of dfriends and then I'll pick up dd14 from the rehearsal. I'll likely be out on a 5th run after that: picking up dd14's prescription and going to the gym. We'll see how that all pans out.

Have a great afternoon and evening all!!

Back from singing. That's the last major 'gig' until the 25th (when we'll be 'on' for up to 4 hours instead of just 1.)

Lunch was Shepherd's pie. Good thing the one we made last night is due to be consumed tomorrow night! I have ribs on in the crock pot for dh and ds, with the leftovers scheduled to be eaten by ds when dh has Chinese (and I have chicken fingers and sweet potato fries.)

Nap time and then off I go to my evening event.

Hi all! I got all my errands done last night, but did not have a chance to cook anything, so i am having the last of Thanksgiving turkey today and tomorrow. Tonight is Girls Night Out and I have to prep for maids, no chance to cook there. Tomorrow night I have a board meeting, probably no time to cook. Thursday is art class, yet again no time to cook! I may be stuck with TV dinners soon. This weekend is shaping up to be jam packed too. Gotta love December.

One thing that must change on Girls night out is that DD10 must finish her homework with me, at the Chinese food place. She cannot wait until she gets with her dad, she ends up going to bed too late.

Harriet: I have not yet finished the painting of 61 Comets, I am still in the drawing phase. I did hang my picture of a celestial type comet in the garage. A very strange place for artwork, but I see it every time I drive in. The car picture will probably go next to it. I am using the picture to decide what color the Comet will eventually be (assuming I am ever in a financial situation to fix it).

I thought about my 3 things and picked out 3 things, if I continue to do these three for the rest of the month all will be well.

1. Holiday. Cards out. Gift finished. Wrapping. Decorating. Cookies.
2. Keep up with all the paperwork around here so 1st of a year won't have me hyperventilating at the mountain of work.
3. Housework, keep up with at least basics so things will go smoother.

So, that is my goal.

I have no cards sent out yet.
I am sorry to read LO has another sore throat. Was so hoping his operation would have fixed all that. :(
Harriet, how often do you go for tests?

Today was grueling amount of work. Got caught up at my desk. Major long statements to sort out and pay. DH ran out for our check and just understanding which phases they'd paid us for took almost an hour. The form they used had little space so they couldn't list everything. This is the job for federal agency that has been driving me crazy.

Drove to bank with that check. Gave out paperwork and statement to someone else who came, took that check to bank. But it's all good, money in is always a good thing.

Completely burned out with prayer request calls that I forwarded on. Serious issues for many people, one friend now has cancer :( another is facing spine surgery on her neck...

Ok I better get back to work here.
