Am in a bad mood so avoiding as many people as possible, even you guys.
Did get the bed stripped and remade this morning and exercised. Then got caught on a phone call so didn't get breakfast until after 11. I have been starving the rest of the day (which really helps with the mood - NOT!)
Wednesday chores are done, as are most of the Thursday chores, including mopping the floor which is very important since it was missed the previous week.
The vacuum is upstairs to do part of Friday's chores before bed. Then I'll do the rest of Friday on Saturday.
I didn't sleep well at all last night so that's part of my mood. Too long until my TOM is due to account for the rest of my mood so I'm guessing it is the lower amount of food messing with my dopamine levels.
Dh bought me new cookie cooling racks for Christmas and they weren't what I was expecting so I told him they should probably go back. Then I went on the website to see why I was so super excited about the racks that I'd even ask for them since I have lots of racks already and the ones he bought weren't very much different. Turns out he bought the wrong ones entirely. So we'll take them back on Tuesday when we are in town. Thankfully, they have a 45 day return policy.

I'm kind of avoiding you guys also because I'm so unproductive today.
I managed to do those three things, and answer an email. So I'll go again and this will at least finish my a.m. routine.
-clear kitchen table
-clear kitchen counters
-deal with 27 pieces of paper on counters

Kathryn commented earlier that her computer was running slowly, I think it's this site that is slow today. Is anyone else experiencing slowness?
I did some inbox pruning and am down to 150 in the inbox. Don't have to reply to many but some I still consider current and want to keep around for the moment. That's down from over 1500 week before last.
I am going to continue with papers....and need to feed my dog boys.

Hi everyone! Once again, lunch with friends was cancelled today. I almost brought in my lunch, but I didn't because I had spoken to one of them yesterday and it was still on. However, I may be going to a movie with one of them tonight. Last night after my church meeting, I tried a new laundry method: very small load, dried on the drying rack. It works, the clothes were clean and dry this morning. I will have to do a lot more loads, but maybe I can put off buying another dryer for a while. I will still need the dryer for sheets, towels, and blankets, but anything smaller can go on the rack. I did not buy a lamp last night, still need to do that, but I probably won't get a chance until Sunday or Monday. I did get stamps today, so I can mail some things.
helia: My ceiling is not leaking now. It may leak in the next rain or snow. It may leak when I turn on the swamp cooler for the summer. Or the leak might have been fixed when I got the new swamp cooler. There is some ugly black mold. I hope it is not terribly expensive, or, if it is, that it is covered by my homeowner's policy.

Elizabeth: don't forget you can wash at home and take the wet clothes to a laundromat for the dryer there. That might be way cheaper than replacing a dryer for just 2 loads a week (towels and sheets.)
Dinner is done so time to clean it up. Had a lot of potato with my dinner so am hoping it might lift my mood a bit. I'm ready for bed now but am waiting to run a load of laundry and to get the dishwasher running before going to bed. My sister suggested using my SAD light and I think I'm going to have to since this exhaustion is nuts. I had green tea with breakfast this morning and 8 oz of pepsi with lunch in order to get through the day.
My music friend just called to see if I'd drive 10 hours with her on Monday. Nope. I can't sit in the car for more than a few hours at a time and when we drive on holidays we only drive 8 hours a day, tops, 2 hours at a time and then a break and walk for me. She drives the 5 hours there and 5 hours back in one shot. And refuses to stay overnight to break it into two days. Or take a train or bus or fly. She has a doctor's appointment and will have 2 more of these trips before her surgery at the end of February. I've avoided making the drive with her for the last 4 years and will continue to do so.

Hello again! No movie tonight. However, there will be a movie tomorrow night with same friend. It is 530 here and work is over. I am going to the yarn store to crochet. I am hoping I will finish my yellow jacket so I can stop carrying it around with me. When the yarn store closes at 7, I am going to buy yarn at Joanns. Why not buy at the place I will be crocheting? They have really nice specialty yarn and I need plain size 10 cotton.

Ditto on this site being very slow the last couple of day. I thought it was just me.
I've put a post in members only section. If you've got a few minutes I would appreciate any feedback. If you don't have the time/energy that is TOTALLY OK!

Sorry about not mentioning Megan Marie's weight! It was so early in the a.m. that I forgot that part! She was 3 Lbs. 4 oz. and she's 14 1/2" long. She's under the belly Rubin lights (sp)
and she's breathing on room oxygen with a ventilator there to help just in case she needs it. She's being fed her mommy's milk, her mommy has a LOT of milk this time around and our Dson showed us all the digital photos taken on the day of the birth of Megan on the 8th. The one that got to me was after the C-Section, which Ddil was awake for, she was moved to tears with joy and emotion as she looked over at her new baby daughter. It touched my soul. I've never seen Ddil so moved. It was a very private moment, but I was glad to see it.
We went up today, in the ice, then freezing fog, then snow on the sides of the road, to go see Megan in NICU today. It was wonderful. It was a dry day, which was nice, we stayed 1 hour and got home at 2 p.m. We left at 9:20 a.m. and our roads out here were super icy until the freeway where traffic sort of wore down the heavy ice. I'm tired from the trip now, but it was awesome to give them crocheted gifts for Megan, too.
Everyone, have a good Friday night and upcoming weekend, too.
